CAGE OF STAGNATION SHATTERED

Indonesian Lady TB Joshua scoanAn Indonesia woman, Mrs Christie Pua who married a Nigerian man, Mr John Ken Egesi came to The SCOAN with her two children, Fredrick and Blessing with only one bag. Their bags had been confiscated by the hotel authority due to their inability to pay for the hotel bill. They ran away from Imo State to Lagos for their dear life due to the false accusation brought against Mr Egesi, that he murdered his own father and niece. They were suffering, finding it difficult to make a living with no money at hand and sometimes with only 100 to 200 Naira for the whole family and the whole day.
Thirteen years old Fredrick also spoke out sharing his pain for having no food on the table at home with debt here and there. As a result of this calamity, he had to beg to eat. Otherwise, they went to bed on empty stomachs. The five years old daughter of the Egesi family, Blessing, with a little knowledge she had about life, also expressed how much they had suffered.

Mrs Egesi cried out during a Live Sunday Service at The SCOAN some weeks ago, saying that she really wanted to go back to her home country, Indonesia to start her life all over.

The following week, the Egesi Family testified to the goodness of God for being taken good care of since the day of their arrival at the church. The SCOAN together with the Emmanuel TV partners responded to their plea by providing passports for the two children, air tickets to go back to Indonesia without forgetting upkeep money for Mrs Christie Pua and children with the total sum of USD7,000. Mr Egesi was also given a cash gift of 500,000 Naira to start a new life as well as a promise for an assistance to find a job.

Today, the Egesi Family came back to appreciate God for rescuing them from a terrible situation, putting an end to their bad past life and giving birth to a promising future. Mrs. Pua expressed her appreciation to The SCOAN, Prophet T.B. Joshua and Emmanuel TV partners worldwide for assisting her to obtain her residence permit as a wife of a Nigerian citizen and Nigerian passports for her two kids, flight tickets to return to Indonesia at a total cost of about 6,000,000 Naira.

Mrs Egesi advised everyone not to run from God but to run to Him in whatever situation we find ourselves in because, in every situation, God is still saying something. As she is going back to Indonesia with her two children, she promised to keep her relationship with her husband and not to disappoint him, and also to train her children in the way of the Lord.

Mr Egesi expressed his happiness for all God has done, all He is doing and all He is about to do in his family’s life. With the cash gift given by The SCOAN and Emmanuel TV Partners, he testified that he doesn’t need to track to his destination and he has enough to start something. Furthermore, the people who had stopped calling him have started calling him again. As his wife is going back to Indonesia, he promised to remain faithful to his wife no matter the distance.

Fredrick, the first born of the Egesi family thanked Prophet T.B. Joshua, the ministry of The SCOAN and Emmanuel TV partners for this breakthrough. With the blessings of God in the Egesi family, he thanked God that he doesn’t need to go into the bin to pick bottles to help to feed the whole family ever again.

The Human Mankind Should Appreciates in T.B. Joshua

T.B Joshua Scoan

Prophet T.B. Joshua

The following article bellow is from the National Daily Newspaper detailing the touching humanitarian gestures going on in the past few Sundays in the Ministry of Prophet T.B. Joshua.

PLUCKING figures out of nowhere to win the popularity contest in Christendom is not going to stop soon. But the world has identified a man of God who remains a human.

In the highly spiritualized world of Christianity, it’s most easy for those labelled men of God to forget the man in their title. On a scale of 1 to 10, there are just a handful of them that can tip the scale at 10 for still being conscious of their tie with sinful mankind. And Pastor T.B Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations ranks well among the few in Christendom.

As a man of God, he takes pleasure in sharing his humanity with people. He does that for love’s sake. That’s his own way of walking with God. “A Christian is someone who is lifting the load with God, walking with the Lord, facing persecution and trials with the Lord, in unison with God,” he said in one of his messages.

So it becomes natural for him to feel what the other battered mortals feel, and, in unison with God, lift their burdens as many as he can. Those he has so touched are in their thousands. And, like Christie Pua, they can’t help telling their stories.

Christie is an Indonesian married to John Egesi, a Nigerian businessman in Indonesia.

Fate dealt them a tough hand when the family of four came to settle down in Nigeria. From Imo they ran to Lagos, where they ended up with no roof over their heads after they couldn’t pay their hotel bills.

In that hopelessness, Christie and her kids, dying to go back to her country, hit the street, begging to survive first, while Egesi hustled around at Alaba International Market. “Sometimes I came home with just N200 for the whole family to spend. On other occasions, nothing,” Egesi said, weeping as he shared his story on a Sunday service.

They eventually found their way to the Synagogue where their story took a dramatic turn. The SCOAN and Emmanuel TV Team took them in and fed them while waiting for Prophet Joshua to meet the family.

Anybody can guess right at what the prophet would do in that situation, an opportunity for him to share in the burden of the Egesis. Certainly, he has seen and shared lots more tear-jacking experiences like that in Nigeria.

Onyinyechi Ibeabuchi was a downbeat postgraduate student of the Abia State University then. She usually used both hands to propel her damaged frame from one point to another. And so she waddled into SCOAN for help that year. And help she did get when she met Joshua. Ibeabuchi rode out of the church that day in a new wheelchair and N93, 000 dole-out for accommodation, feeding and tuition fees. She later visited SCOAN, with her husband, to thank the man of God, She meant just to thank him and SCOAN. But something bigger happened: Joshua gave the couple a brand new car and N200,000.

Countless other kind gestures of Joshua’s, coordinated by SCOAN’s humanitarian arm; dot the landscape across Haiti and other crisis-ridden zones around the world. Many of these are already documented in a 352-page book, Roadmap: Reaching Out To A Troubled World, the Synagogue just published.

According to the book, Joshua and his team have initiated projects catering for the needs of widows and widowers, little people, the elderly, the physically challenged, orphans and the impoverished.

“As part of its international disaster relief efforts, the SCOAN has established a permanent primary health clinic in Haiti,” the book stated. The church provides scholarships to orphans and children of the less privileged, with educational support given to university level.”

Deviants and addicts also have their place in SCOAN’s programme. Repentant armed robbers, prostitutes and militants are rehabilitated and supported financially to help them adjust.

There are other individual encounters when Joshua has brought honey to replace bitterness in people’s experiences, and the change thereafter is never hidden. “We are full of joy now for the life we now live through the grace of God courtesy of Prophet T.B. Joshua and the Emmanuel TV,” the Egesis said.

How happy could they have been? A stone-broke Egesi got N500, 000 and a promise of a job. The man of God also secured Christie and her kids their travel documents and flight tickets, all costing about $7000. She got $3000 as spending money, too. The kids got a scholarship to study anywhere in Indonesia.

All the thousands the prophet has so blessed, including the Egesis, have kept spreading the news around the world. The amount of attention and the reach it gets now have resulted in some kind of ranking: T.B Joshua remains the most popular name in Christian philanthropy and humanitarian efforts in Africa.

Maybe he is until Pew Research Centre says otherwise.

T.B. JOSHUA HELP ONE LEG DOCTOR AND FAMILY LEFT ON THE STREETS AS BEGGARS

Dr Sunday Simon TB Joshua

Dr Sunday Simon

In a sober mood, Dr Sunday Simon and his entire family narrated their ugly situation as they plea for help in the SCOAN live Sunday service on 4th September as a result of hardship and poverty. Dr Sunday who is a qualified Medical Doctor with a specialist diploma in orthopaedic technology and prosthetics, sew himself strangling with poverty after a horrific accident that cost him one of his legs. The unfortunate incident affected his career making him unable to meet his family’s needs, his kids had to quit school and he could not pay house rent. This was coupled with huge debt own to a number of his clients because he was yet to deliver their items. One of such client even came with a policeman to lock him up in a prison cell; given a time limit to pay his debt, he was released on bail.

Known that it would be difficult to get a job without a leg, Dr Sunday decided to go to Lagos, where he was unknown and join the beggars on the streets. Begging one day, a Good Samaritan who was recording his plight on camera, as she was talking to him, told him about The SCOAN and Prophet T.B. Joshua.

Bellow is how the story was posted in the official T.B. Joshua Ministries Facebook page:

A DOCTOR LEFT WITHOUT A LEG

Dr Sunday Simon 500,000 naira scoan

Dr Sunday Simon displyed 500,000 Naira Given to Him at SCOAN

Dr Sunday Simon and family were not doing too badly. As a qualified Medical Doctor with a specialist diploma in orthopaedic technology and prosthetics, even though Dr Sunday was retrenched from his job in an NGO, he was at least able to make a decent living for himself. With six children and two grandchildren, the task of fending for his family was a huge one. He had the skills and expertise to both produce and fit artificial limbs for amputees and that became his profession. He moved round and soon gathered a number of clients who were prepared to pay him modestly for the artificial limbs. This was just about enough to cater for his growing family.

Dr Sunday would have never believed that his only means of livelihood would be wickedly cut short in one fell swoop. He was on his way to Jos one day when his car landed him in a horrific accident. Dr Sunday woke up hours later on a hospital bed. “I can’t feel my leg” was among his first words. They were met with a grim rejoinder, “Your leg has been removed… but you should thank God…. we saved your life.” In an attempt to sit up, Dr Sunday looked and the ironic reality dawned. His leg had been amputated. He was now in the same position as his clients and patients he had treated all these years. His condition was bad and Dr Sunday had to remain in hospital for 21 days. At the end of it, the doctor in charge who he knew, decided to release him without collecting any payment.

Life without a leg was a sad and sorry tale for Dr Sunday. He could hardly do anything for himself, let alone continue his trade. The production of artificial limbs required mobility. He found himself suddenly at the mercy of his debtors as undelivered orders began to pile up. Before the accident, he had collected money from a number of clients but had not yet delivered the items to them. One such client who lost patience, came one day with a police man who ordered his arrest. With crutches and a heavy heart, Dr Sunday was locked up in jail that night. Released on bail, he was given a time limit to pay his debt.

To make matters worse, his landlord had equally lost patience and decided to chuck his family and property out of the house. His kids had stopped school and his wife had started going out every day looking for business, lucky to bring anything back. Hunger was far from at bay for the Simon family.

Dr Sunday decided to go to Lagos and join the beggars on the streets. After all, he was not known in Lagos; and he figured out that without a leg, it would be difficult to get a job. He found himself sitting by the roadside every day, dependent on the small change of passersby. The little he collected per day was barely enough to pay for his nightly lodging. The suffering continued as various groups would also come and terrorize them as they stayed by the streets.

One day, a Good Samaritan came along and asked Dr Sunday why he was sitting among the beggars, recognizing that he somehow looked different to his counterparts. As she was talking to him, she was recording his plight on camera. She told him about The SCOAN and Prophet T.B. Joshua.

Dr Sunday decided to visit The SCOAN and by grace, he was able to present his case with his entire family live in the service.

T.B. Joshua and the Emmanuel TV Partners responded promptly on hearing Dr Sunday’s plea. The family were presented with 500,000 Naira, the children were enrolled in The SCOAN Scholarship Programme and the ministry pledged to provide the family with comfortable accommodation.

Dr Sunday spoke amidst choking tears, “When joy is too much, you will be confused.” His wife added, “My happiness is too much. I don’t know what to say”.

Every day, he said he would walk the long road to Alaba Market where he hustled, doing whatever he could to get money to feed his family, rarely earning more than 500 naira per day. Many times, the family slept without eating and they constantly moved from place to place, unable to pay accommodation costs.

He thanked God for the day he received a phone call from The SCOAN, saying how they had seen his wife and children in the streets and were inviting him to come. Since then, Prophet T.B. Joshua and Emmanuel TV Partners have been taking care of the family with free accommodation, three good meals daily and an allowance. The children added their thanks to The SCOAN and Emmanuel TV Partners for taking them off the streets and from living among the dustbins.
