T.B. Joshua

T.B. Joshua

Even with the level of persecution, campaign of calumny and criticism against the life and ministry of T.B Joshua, The Man in the Synagogue (T.B Joshua), still remains one of the greatest human resources God has endowed this generation with. God has being using the ministry of T.B Joshua to affect many lives around the world, which consist of both the poor, rich, Influential and great in the society. T.B Joshua’s ministry has being a sources of hope for many that are faces with life adversaries. Many who are in need of freedom and blessing to move forward in their respective endeavors, do come to Scoan as their “last bus stop” to receive total freedom and breakthrough and this make one to wonder how life would have being for many if not for this great gift of God to humanity for many lives had indeed being transformed and change for good through the ministry of T.B Joshua.

Yet, T.B Joshua remains an humble servant of God, He has never allow praise from men to overwhelm him, he always give all the glory to God almighty and have never claim that all those great works done through him are by is power. He has always put God first and Christ above him in all that he is doing.

Even with all of this great works being done through T.B Joshua and his humble disposition. Some evil forces are still working tirelessly to destroy and ridicule the ministry of T.B Joshua in the public. This evil forces are busy looking for errors they will use against T.B Joshua and Scoan. But Still, T.B Joshua remains a peace maker he has never fight back even when he is being advice to do so he choose to preach love and even call for their prayers because is mission is not to destroy but to save lives for God’s kingdom.

Persecution is a prerequisite for a genuine servant of God. This level of hatred against T.B Joshua and Scoan has much to tell about the genuineness of T.B Joshua’s ministry. The Scripture clearly tells us in:

2Timothy 3:12-13 “In fact everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.”

Anything close to Jesus receives attack but when God is on your side, you will stand the test of time and persecution will be a tonic to your anointing.

Let’s be vigilante as Children of God, those evil forces that are working against the prophetic graces in the life and ministry of T.B Joshua are working under the influences of the devil, the devil which is the author of killing, stealing and destruction is not happy that all his evil intentions against the nations of the world are being expose daily in Scoan, he is deceptively using this critics to cause misunderstanding and confusion in other for many not to take those prophesy that exposes his evil planes against the nations of the world serious.

T.B Joshua is not using those prophesy to promote him self or gain public attentions, for God sack, there are so many touching and amazing activities that are going on in Scoan on daily basis, T.B Joshua is know world over, Scoan is an international ministry, their are record of highly places dignitaries that do visit Scoan daily just to worship God there. Prophesy are given to expose the evil plan of the devil, it is when we chose to ignore the advices of God’s servant concerning such prophesy that they come to fulfillment,

Note: Prophesy are not giving for them to come to pass, many have always make the error that a Prophesy given by a prophet of God must come to fulfillment, it is important to note that not all prophesy given by a Prophet must come to fulfillment especially, those that can be averted by following God’s instruction and prayers (Read Jonah3:1-10 ).

When we follow God’s instruction as articulated from the mouth of his prophet, those tragic incident that is taking places in our world of today can be avoided or minimize.

I call on Our leaders all over the world to always take those prophesy of warning given by T.B Joshua serious, let’s use this highly gifted human resources God has given us as a generation, our world can be a better places if we can humble ourselves in the love of Christ and embraces this present gift God has given to mankind.

One thing that I know is that darkness can not over power light, no matter the forces of evil that stand against the life and ministry of T.B Joshua will all fall because the builder and maker is God.

TB Joshua was behind Stars victory – Richard Kingson

Ghana goalkeeper- Richard Kingson

Ghana goalkeeper Richard “Olele” Kingson has indicated that he is not surprised about the 6-1 win over Egypt in the 2014 World Cup play-off and attributed it to the God of Prophet TB Joshua.
Kingson said the Black Stars played total football with great cohesion and high confident level.
He observed that the Egyptians were jittering and the Black Stars capitalized on it thus penalizing them severely by thrashing them by 6 -1.
Richard Kingson indicated that, before his call-up for the Ghana-Egypt 2014 game, he knew Ghana would wallop Egypt by a wide margin because His Father in the Lord and mentor, Prophet TB Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) prophesied victory over Egypt and the qualification of the Black Stars to its 3rd straight successful FIFA World Cup in Brazil to him.
He added: “As usual He (Prophet TB Joshua) calls me often, we talk and he encourages me and prophesied to me that I will play again and my people (Ghana) will come for me, so the prophecy he said about me, all came to pass,” he told Oman FM.
“Before the Egypt game he called me often to encourage me and he told me you (Ghana) will qualify and those were the words he used, you will qualify. “He called me about three times on the day of the match, even a day before the match that was Monday night he called me and he said everything is ok, everything is alright you guys will do well”.
Richard Kingson noted that he shares the same sentiment with some Ghanaians who claimed the 6-1 victory over the Egyptians was a miracle.
“Yes, it is a miracle, because day were paired with the Egyptians the whole Ghana started grumbling and they were afraid that this people (the Egyptians) are very strong and they will destroy our team so this score line is a miracle for Ghanaians and no one was expecting this, it’s a miracle,” Kingson stressed.
Kingson before the game against Egypt reportedly led the team in a prayer session and also preached the word of God because “I was directed by the Holy Spirit to share Exodus 14:14 with the players”.
“You cannot do anything without the word of God because God Himself said you cannot do anything without my word because there is healing, blessing, deliverance, victory and everything in it.
“We prayed a lot in camp but the last prayer we had in the dressing room, was when everybody dressed up and was ready to go out for the game and I shared with them Exodus 14:14,the Bible quotation which the Holy spirit directed me to share with the team, when I was invited to join the Blackstars team.
“This is the word you have to give to your people (Blackstars), the Egyptians you see them today, you will see them no more, so they should not be afraid ,they should have courage, that am the Lord I will fight them(Egyptians) and I will deliver them(Blackstars).
“So I gave the message them before we left the dressing room, they should have courage and we will win this game and by God’s willing we won the game”
The Doxa Katokopias goalie continued: “Yes of course I will attribute this victory to the God of Prophet TB Joshua because his prophet, TB Joshua has played a big role in my life, he prophesied to me that my brother you will play again and your people (Ghana) will come for you and you will go to the World Cup these were his words and it has come to pass, I believe we are there even though we haven’t played the 2nd leg, I believed strongly that we are there and we will qualify and what he (Prophet TB Joshua) said has come to pass” “After 2 years without football I got a team in Cyprus and I have been invited into the Senior National team.
He was full of Praise for the God of Prophet TB Joshua and also thanked the Man of God for playing a major in resurrecting his football career both at the club and national levels.
“I would like to thank the God of Prophet TB Joshua who has made it possible for me by bringing me back into national team, He used his servant Senior Prophet TB Joshua to speak to me, He is a real man of God, he has been playing many roles in my life, encouraging me, sharing the word of God with me, his teaching and everything about Him.
“So I would like to thank the God of Prophet TB Joshua, he has done it for me Richard “Olele” Kingson and Ghana.
“The second one also goes to the Prophet Himself and I thank him a lot and thank the members of the Synagogue Church of All Nation (SCOAN) they have been praying for me, that God will do and really God has done it for me, so I give the glory to the Almighty God” says Richard Kingson.
The Founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nation (SCOAN) Prophet TB Joshua is noted for his love for sports especially football and has predicted the outcome of lots of crucial football matches globally.
Some of his notable predictions were Ghana vs. Brazil at the 2009 U-20 FIFA World Cup final, 2012 African Cup of Nations Cup qualifier between Nigeria and Guinea, 2012 African Cup of Nations finals between the Ivory Coast and Zambia etc.
In February 2013, Prophet TB Joshua announced at a church service that he had stopped making prophecies on the outcome of football matches in order to protect members of his church from attack by football fans across the world.

Miracles in Nigeria-Professor Willem J. Ouweneel

The Man In The Synagogue

The Man In The Synagogue

Professor Ouweneel holds doctorates in biology (Utrecht), philosophy (Amsterdam) and theology (Bloemfontein, RSA).
He is currently a theology and philosophy professor at several colleges and theological faculties. He is the author of over 100 books. He lives in the Netherlands, where he was born.

10 August 2002

I come from a Brethren background and not a charismatic background. So naturally I was a bit reluctant to go to Nigeria, but my daughter went there several times and she gave me the message that T.B. Joshua was interested in seeing me, although she had not told him anything about me. So I went there twice, once for five days in March 2002, and once for ten days in June 2002, and I hope to go there again in October 2002.

I was very much impressed by what I saw, heard and experienced there. Not so much only in seeing the miracles that happened and the sermons that were given, but particularly the spiritual experience in my own soul when I was there. That is something that everyone who doesn’t go there in person will miss. You will not experience personally what it is to be at such a sacred place where I felt the Lord’s presence in a particular way and where He spoke to me on things that He had not spoken on to me previously in such a powerful way.

Another thing that people will not experience if they don’t go there is what kind of person T.B. Joshua is in himself. I had the opportunity of several in depth conversations with him. People who don’t go there will also not notice the spiritual atmosphere of the meetings and the godly impact that he has on people who are there. I was there with a Dutch group and I spoke with the other guests who were there, all of whom were very touched. To me this was a tremendous experience.

I may have my question marks on certain things that happened there because I don’t understand them; I am a European and not an African. I have question marks on certain things in his sermons. But having questions is very different from having major criticisms that would condemn the man and his ministry altogether. Besides, some of those questions have been answered in the meantime to my full satisfaction.

I have seen many of the criticisms on websites and in newspapers and am very angry with some of the criticisms as they are totally unfair and just repeating the mistakes (or even lies) others have made. They are people who are not in a position to really judge, people who pick on certain sentences in sermons which they do not understand in the African context and in the context of the rest of his ministry. That is a very cheap way of criticizing. It reminds me very strongly on what the Pharisees did who judged the Lord Jesus from their own framework of thought and put him in the category of the devil (Matthew 12).

I think we should be very careful, on the one hand not to be misled by satan. That is absolutely true. But on the other hand, when we see God working, to attribute that to satan is just as bad. There are many who have not been there, who did not have the spiritual experience of the place and who only in a rational, critical, theological way pick on certain things that they have seen on videos or read in the sermons, things they don’t see in their own proper context. That is very unfair to say the least and in some cases I really wonder whether the critics are not under demonic influences themselves, when I look at the harshness and unfairness with which they criticize.

I am satisfied as to the integrity of T.B. Joshua’s ministry. I have no doubt about that. I asked him some difficult questions just to find out for myself about his personal honesty, and I have been satisfied as to that. Also I believe him to be thoroughly sound on all the basic doctrines of Christianity. It is only when people consciously or unconsciously misread certain statements that misunderstandings and mean insinuations are born. But you can do that with anyone’s ministry, take sermons apart and condemn the preacher. That has been done with T.B. Joshua. But on the whole he is absolutely sound when it comes to all the major points of Christian doctrine.

His ministry is unusual but if God is pleased in these last days to raise a man in such an outward place in Africa in the way he has done to T.B. Joshua, that is His absolute sovereignty. We should be very careful in our western context to judge that simply because it is different from what we are used to or what fits into our own paradigms and our own frameworks of thought. Rather we should be prepared to have God overthrow our own frameworks of thoughts in the light of Scripture, instead of us judging things because they do not fit out preconceived ideas.

I have gone over many of his written sermons and I have heard some of his sermons. English is not his native language, just as it is not mine, and some of the formulations certainly could give rise to misunderstandings. I realize that, but when you learn to understand the whole of his ministry more, you also begin to understand those formulations that at first were strange and you understand much better what he actually was saying. Lots of things that are attributed to him are based on this type of superficial reading. So on the whole I am absolutely convinced his written and spoken ministry is sound if you allow for certain weak formulations that indeed may give rise to misunderstanding if they are taken out of context or if your survey is only of a superficial nature.

I pray that God will further bless brother T.B. Joshua, and will open the eyes of his critics.

Willem J. Ouweneel.
