SCOAN’s 2nd Thanksgiving: A Global Celebration of Faith and Legacy

Sunday marked a momentous occasion filled with joy and celebration as members of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) and well-wishers worldwide gathered to express gratitude for God’s faithfulness and grace during the 2nd Thanksgiving anniversary.

This significant event aimed to commemorate the reopening of the ministry following the passing of its revered founder, the God’s General Senior Prophet TB Joshua, on June 5, 2021. It also served as a platform to rejoice in the remarkable works of God, which continue to flourish under the new leadership of Pastor Evelyn Joshua.

The vibrant celebration attracted a massive turnout of members, well-wishers, guest artists, and invited guests from across the globe, adorned in a dazzling array of colorful attire. Pastor Evelyn Joshua, radiantly dressed in a simple yet elegant pink ensemble, expressed heartfelt gratitude in her speech to God, ministers, and church members who stood by the church through challenging times.

Assuring the congregation, Pastor Evelyn Joshua pledged that the new administration would steadfastly uphold the legacy of Prophet TB Joshua, emphasizing that “The legacy of Prophet TB Joshua shall live forever.” Drawing inspiration from Psalm 107:1, she encouraged everyone to give thanks to God, emphasizing His enduring goodness and mercy.

Expressing profound appreciation to Emmanuel TV Partners for their invaluable support, Pastor Joshua highlighted various activities undertaken by SCOAN throughout the year. These included special meetings at The Prayer Mountain, outreaches in Ghana, Spain, Zambia, and Kenya, as well as numerous charity events in various parts of the world. The woman of God commended the different groups within the church for their faithfulness, contributing to the church’s continual progress in God’s grace.

The Thanksgiving service featured performances by high-profile Gospel artist Christina Shusho from Tanzania, who captivated the audience with her beautiful Swahili rendition. Guest artiste Akintayo Akinwande presented a medley of Nigerian praise songs, and SCOAN youth showcased choreography as a dance offering to God, illustrating a message by Prophet TB Joshua.

The service also included captivating clips showcasing God’s goodness in various dimensions. Distinguished guests, including Bishop Micheal Fleming of Church On The Street, a charity based in the United Kingdom, added to the grandeur of the thanksgiving service.

The congregation, representing diverse backgrounds and nationalities, joyfully danced to the altar with their thanksgiving offerings, accompanied by uplifting songs from the SCOAN Chorister. All attendees left the service feeling enriched, blessed, and filled with joy, as the church continues to thrive under the capable leadership of Pastor Evelyn Joshua.
