The Tyranny of Social Media giants and Modern Persecution of the Church

TB Joshua, YouTube award, The SCOAN
YouTube awarded Emmanuel TV a Gold Creator Award

The recent suspension of Emmanuel TV YouTube Channel never came as a surprise. It was as expected as anything else. Since this was not the first time YouTube has suspended SCOAN’s Channel on its platform. We even wrote an article then saying that this present YouTube Channel that is now under suspension will also be blocked. The only thing that is a surprise is while the SCOAN have not until now develop their social media platforms where the gospel and the marvellous works of Christ through the ministry of Prophet TB Joshua can be disseminated without restrictions.

It is time the Church of Christ starts thinking outside the box, there are some things that Christ will not do for us when he has already given us the grace to do it for ourselves. The Church cannot continue to rely on the mediums and platforms of the world to preach the gospel that they hate.

Let us stop acting as if we are ignorant of the world and its antics. We know they are not comfortable with the gospel of Christ and there is no way they will continue to allow their platform to be used to propagate that gospel.

They claim their actions were based on ‘hate speech’ from a deliverance video. A video which to a true believer is an inspiring testimony of transformation.

That which is an atmosphere of deliverance and freedom to the Church is hate speech to the world. Can’t we see the conflict? Who is the determiner of hate speech? Who makes owners of social media platform the judge in determining our value system? Are they not supposed to be neutral?  This is simply the tyranny of the social media giant. Because it happens to TB Joshua today those not mean it won’t happen to you tomorrow. The Church and the lovers of truth need to wake up and understand that the world is no longer hiding their hate against the gospel of truth. They are coming out boldly in waging their war against the Church of Christ.

TB Joshua never forces anyone to come to his Church. The man who was delivered from homosexuality come to The SCOAN on his own. He felt he was under bondage and came to the SCOAN where he believed he could get his freedom. And that freedom he received. How do that affect YouTube and any aggrieved group?

Is this suspension that is without any legal and legitimate bearing by those purporting hate speech, not themselves promoting oppression and persecution?

What about the United Nations fundamental human right that said “Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion”. Why do you want to impose your belief and thought on others? Are you angry with TB Joshua’s ministry because God is using him to reduce your population – the homosexuals?

The man that was delivered from homosexuality was matured enough to know what is best for him. You don’t force your belief on others. If you believe that what you stand for is good and true, why not allow everyone the choice to decide for themselves if they are comfortable with it or not. Instead of forceful imposition and coercion.

This is clear tyranny in public display and we need to recognise that the world has gone past this stage.

The management of YouTube should not allow themselves to be used irrespective of the pressure they may be getting from these groups and even if they have a stake in these issues. They have to understand that these are sensitive issues. Taken side and suspending Emmanuel TV’s YouTube Channel is not the best way to go. They should instead learn to stay neutral. They should learn to differentiate between business ethics and their prejudice. This is important not only for the integrity of their social media platforms but for the future. Always remember that the future is a mystery.

The Lord Shall Rebuke Satanic Cause OF Church Disunity

WORLD ACCLAIMED PROPHET T.B. JOSHUA

Evangelist Angela got it precisely right. She is a testimony herself. She is also a good and bold preacher. The new wave of persecution is more from within the so-called Church of Christ in Nigeria. The “Church of Christ” is being used in a very broad term here. It includes sects speaking evil of those things which they know not. What they know is what they are naturally, they are brute beasts, and corrupting themselves. As written in Jude 1: 9-13 they are people who have gone in the way of Cain and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for a reward. They feed themselves without fear. They pollute the public mind with their self-made doctrine.

In the 1960s and up to the middle of the 1970s there was more unity amongst the Christian body in Nigeria with only the Fellowship of Christian Students (FCS) in the Northern region and the Scripture Union (SU) in the Southern regions of Nigeria. These two Christian organizations were able to groom young Nigerian Christians, and I am gladly a product of the FCS. But the unity was lost when religion became a big political weapon and economic source in Nigeria after Gen Gowon was removed by a coup. Individuals started forming their denominations, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) was formed and blocks were created within CAN to cater to such group interests. It can be said that CAN was formed, not from a call from God to grow the Church, but from concerned Christians who believed then (and probably still now) that extra weapons would be needed for political purposes. Having established a body like CAN, the organizers also begin to think that they are to decide who belongs or not. It is not certain if the SCOAN would be admitted into their club, or which block could accommodate her.

The Advent of prophet TB Joshua of Synagogue Church, of All Nations (SCOAN) is a big headache for CAN and the various congregations that constitute that organization. Today in the internet unprintable things can still be found written about prophet TB Joshua or SCOAN, especially discouraging people not to go near. The persecution continued by banning broadcasting prophet TB Joshua healing services from government-owned Television stations, arrest and detention, fake news, false propaganda and many others. It is not expected that the atmosphere would change because the very foundation of CAN was different from doctrine teaching or moderation. Similarly, many congregations in Nigeria are becoming shopping centres enforcing tithe collections as the main doctrine and putting back to society absolutely nothing. They also expect that others should obey what they teach.

In all these happenings we shall continue to encourage prophet TB Joshua to be silent, except praying and watching. In 1 Samuel 2:9 we read that “God will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail”. After all, it is not a competitive race but each person functioning according to the call given. Prophet TB Joshua has a very big call in the order of prophets like Elijah, Elisha or Daniel and hence should not be detracted to market noise. He is currently not busy himself going to praying for Presidents, governors, senators, etc, except if they come to him. We also think that the prophet will use Psalm 28:1 crying always into God “Unto thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit”. There is no compromise with the world because friendship with the world makes us God’s enemy James 4:4.

PROPHET T.B. JOSHUA AND THE WORDS OF EVANGELIST ANGELA

BY Femi Fani-Kayode

tb joshua, scoanI watched an inspiring, courageous, brilliant and highly anointed young American lady by the name of Evangelist Angela deliver a powerful and earthshaking message about how Christian’s persecute other Christian’s in Nigeria and the importance of Church unity and Christian solidarity last Sunday.

I watched it on Prophet T.B. Joshua’s Emmanuel Television and it was preached at the SCOAN Headquarters in Ikotun, Lagos.

The message, which was titled ‘The New Wave of Persecution’, was really gripping and it also touched on how T.B. Joshua himself had suffered injustice and persecution over the years. I urge every believer to go to YouTube and listen to Angela’s sermon because it was not only deeply profound but also utterly inspiring.

There were however a few things that she left out which, in my view, ought to have been included. For example the fact that Joshua had his American visa cancelled in 2014 as a result of wickedness, envy and intrigue after the horrific bombing of one of his Church buildings which sadly resulted in the death of many of his members.

It is sad to note that not one Church leader expressed his or her condolences or comisserations to the Church or the Prophet after this tragic incident despite the massive loss of life. Instead it was the leaders of the Muslim community in Nigeria, including the Sultan of Sokoto and many Emirs, that did so!

Sadly, as if that were not bad enough, it got even worse! Some heartless Church leaders went as far as to petition the American Embassy to cancel the Prophet’s American visa and used this terrible incident as their excuse and attempt to justify it!

They did this even though it was clear that the collapse of the building was not as a consequence of any wrongdoing on his part but rather as a result of a brutal act of pure evil and premeditated murder and terror by those who wanted him discredited and his Church closed down.

It took the intervention of members of the American Congress, the State Department, numerous American Ambasadors, members of the American diplomatic corps and numerous American consular officials to resist the conspiracy and to ensure that his visa was restored.

I spoke with Prophet T.B. Joshua after listening to Angela’s message last Sunday and asked him why it was that he did not expose all this to the public in 2014.

I also asked him why it is that he always keeps quiet, refuses to defend himself and says nothing when faced with the unrelenting, shameful and relentless criticism, misrepresentation, false allegations, vilification and persecution that he has suffered from other Church leaders over the years.

This is all the more so given the fact that, in my view, such criticisms are borne out of nothing but pure envy.

He told me that he believes in the unity of the Body of Christ and that he did not want the Church to be divided hence his silence over the years.

He kept emphasising the fact that in order for us to succeed as Christian’s in Nigeria and save souls there must be love between and charity between Christians and Church unity. I was moved by his words but I must confess that I was not too happy about them.

The kind of insults, false allegations, fabrications and wickedness that this great man of God has been subjected to over the years by others is simply unacceptable and had he been a lesser man it would have broken him.

If God had not been with him he would have fallen long ago but instead he is going from strength to strength and his ministry has had a greater impact than that of any other Nigerian preacher in the international community.

From South America, to South East Asia, to the Korean peninsular, to Israel, to Europe, to Africa and to North America he is respected, revered and loved and his impact in terms of preaching and spreading the gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has been extraordinary and outstanding.

I have decided to write a book about this great man’s remarkable and inspiring life, his struggles, his challenges and the sort of things that he has been subjected to over the years very soon.

I will also expose the fact that the blowing up of his SCOAN Church building in 2014 was one of Nigeria’s most heinous and terrible acts of terror and I shall expose those who I believe were behind it.

T.B. Joshua is a humble, gentle, reticent, forgiving, kind and patient man who refuses to join issues with his detractors and enemies and who instead focuses on the work that God has called him to do.

I respect him immensely but I must confess that I do not share his disposition or inclination to say nothing when others seek to destroy and drag down. If I were in his shoes I would have hit them back long ago!

I guess that the fact that he has refused to do so is what makes him so special and so much better than those of us that can be best described as lesser mortals.

I am proud to call him my friend and brother, I wish him well in all his endeavours and I pray that the entire Body of Christ in Nigeria, together with our highly esteemed and reverred Church leaders, will have the humility, presence of mind and courage to learn from his shining example and Evangelist Angela’s inspiring message of love, peace, solidarity and unity.

Prophet TB Joshua and His Critics

Tb Joshua, scoan

Prophet T.B. Joshua

This is a post from one of our readings, analysing the unpleasant situation TB Joshua has been experiencing in the hands of his detractors. Hope you enjoy reading.

For many years now, say since around 2003, I have been following TB Joshua very keenly. I first got a glimpse of his ministry on a state channel “Christian Hour Sunday Evening Programme”. The programme is still ongoing for ministries that can’t yet afford to run their private stations like Emmanuel TV that is now 13 years old. The Nigeria Federal Government at that time gave the order to disallow the use of government television stations by ministries like TB Joshua showing miracles. Our impression at that time was that the order was meant to shut up Synagogue of TB Joshua. The organizations that were not disallowed by the government of that day took it till date that they were the right ministries. By extension, they thought that they were the ones “Preaching the True Gospel of Jesus Christ”. But for SCOAN, some of us believe, government opposition (that generated some public doubt in TB Joshua and his ministries) encouraged the birth of Emmanuel TV that is now global. We thank God for using a supposed Christian President wrongly, but with hind knowledge in a way that gives more independence to the Church of Christ in Nigeria in broadcasting.

Yes, many others out there seem to continue to mock TB Joshua and rebuke his ministry for different other reasons, and this is no surprise. We are not even going to compare the present attacks on TB Joshua with the attacks to Jesus Christ and the massive persecution of the early Apostolic Church. It is of note nevertheless that the religious leaders did the same to Jesus in His time. People accused Jesus of being both demonic (Matthew 12:22-32) and a fraudster (Luke 23:11). Yes, they did and eventually cruelly led him to the Cross, thinking they were fighting God’s battle.

Jesus operated in a mono-ethnic and predominately Jewish population. Today the world has hundreds of religions each of which is on a mission of competition rather than seeking the Way and the Truth. This is sadly the current way of the world. If people don’t understand something or can’t achieve a TB Joshua’s standard for themselves then they just have to tear it down. This is more so in a present era of total impunity around the world and the spread of “Prosperity Gospel only”. No ministry wants to go near the demonic world where the End-time devilish anti-Christ forces have their home. They gloss over it, all in the pretext that “False Prophets and Teachers will arise in Latter Days”. Others through their denominational doctrine disallow any manifestation of the Spirit at worship. Their prepared programme is a mere routine of one or two hours of “prayer, singing, dancing, sermon, tithes and offerings, then the grace, till next Sunday”. Anything contrary to this programme receives opposition, just like miracles on a Sabbath day amounts to be working.

We were expecting TB Joshua to conduct his recent Nazareth meeting starting it on a Saturday, but he started instead in a Sunday. Yet the Jews and Arabs were still skeptical of the mission of TB Joshua and his team.

Individuals with one problem or the other can better associate with Jesus because He touches on them directly. Jesus said, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest”. Jesus gave the invitation but those making money from public infirmities turn around to oppose a ministry like SCOAN healing freely. Yes, the poor of the society, disabled, demon-possessed and the devil-chained-down, those who realise they have lost their way, and including others expecting the coming of Jesus Christ the King, all are coming to SCOAN to see Jesus. We are encouraging them to go. My concern right now is the capacity of SCOAN I estimated in 2012 to be only about 30,000. My other concern is “Just a one-man of God” faced with a large crowd every day. I saw it and felt for him.

I’m getting so delighted now that many others, men and women, are coming up with great anointing. An additional test of a genuine prophet is the ability or gift of raising disciples. TB Joshua is doing that. Already some of his “first disciples” have joined the opposition forces and are publishing against their boss. Even within such publications, the genuineness of TB Joshua and SCOAN becomes more obvious. Imagine one who worked ten years in SCOAN, saying miracles are fixed whereas people who just touched Emmanuel TV in their homes have positive results. Christ is alive and working, and this is different from whether TB Joshua is a perfect man or not. You don’t wait till a Samson takes hold of whatever is the middle pillar of your faith and destroy you along with itself. Look for Jesus and SCOAN is a place you can find Jesus also. If you get your healing or any miracle whilst in the UK, USA, Saudi Arabia, China, etc, come forward and say it as a witness that Jesus is alive. Mary saw Jesus after His resurrection and told others, and others likewise, then the Bible.

We have to be desperate in our search for Jesus Christ because He holds the key to life, but we don’t have to be desperate because of our conditions. Established systems or the religious would contend with our faith and offering themselves as alternatives, but by reading our Bible and praying Jesus will reveal Himself and lead us aright. Incidentally, I have found SCOAN as a training ground for Christian leaders, a place for a retreat, a solution ground, of course, a miracle centre, a reconciliation ground, and a place where all Christians and all faiths can meet.

Prophet TB Joshua isn’t just humble but very accessible and allowed some of us to advise him, where there is a need. He is just like one of us but with a given special anointing. We are daily praying for him, just as we pray for every ministry that comes under the control and anointing of Jesus Christ. Hence, I find no reason why people will be critical of TB Joshua other than endeavouring to perfect the work of the man of God. TB Joshua shall be perfect because his master, our own Lord and Saviour, is perfect.

Why TB Joshua never replied Pastors and his former aides that accused him

tb joshua, scoan

Prophet TB Joshua

This is an interesting and breath-taking interview with TB Joshua, the General Overseer of the Synagogue, Church of all Nations, Lagos Nigeria. He answered questions about criticism from other men of God, persecution, charity, the nation, economy and others.

Q: You’ve come under severe criticism recently and in the past years from other pastors and your former aides, but you never replied them. Why?

A: It is only when you don’t know where you are going you will reply them. When you don’t know where you are going, anything can overwhelm you, anything can provoke you. Look at what happened to Joseph in the dry pit; because he knew he was going to the throne; he was not overwhelmed. When he was on the floor, instead of looking at the floor – you know the prison floor is not smooth – the Bible said he opened the window and looked at the beautiful sky and he said to himself, “I know where I belong!” So when you know where you belong, nothing can overwhelm you, provoke you or discourage you. Therefore, if you know that there is a higher hand leading you and you know the protection you are under, you don’t fight for God, rather God fights for us. There are two ministers of God, those who fight for God and those whom God fights for. For me, God fights for me. You don’t fight for God, so when you are doing the work of God and people are fighting you, they are fighting God. Apart from healing, prophecy and Synagogue, if I withdraw now, nobody will talk about me. Definitely, it’s God in me they are fighting. So when somebody says you are this and that, it’s just a matter of time. Those persecutions, hatred and intimidation – you will realise that God uses them to prepare us and strengthen our desire for Him. When you are being persecuted, it’s time to praise the Lord. Time of intimidation is time to draw closer to Him. Therefore, it’s a tonic for our anointing. The persecution we suffer in the hands of our detractors causes us to be known.

Q: Some Pastors claim that you are evil. Is TB Joshua evil?

A: You know what happened to Peter and our Lord Jesus Christ. You know how close Peter was to Him and the question He asked in that Matthew 16 – “Who do people say I am?” Peter’s first answer was improper and Jesus said you are a tempter; you are a snare, get out of my sight. You should ever think of the things of God, not things of the world. You can imagine somebody who is close to Jesus and the Lord asked him, who do people say I am – and he could not see Jesus from God’s point of view but from a human point of view. Perfection eludes everyone. Because you bear pastor… what informs that word pastor? The issue of pastor is all about the anointing of God. So because somebody said I am a pastor, that does not mean his vision cannot be blurred – and when his vision is blurred, you will not see clearly the things of God. There are pastors that actually receive the message of God by mental assent. The actual message of God comes from the heart. It renews our strength. The one that comes from our heard you memorise the message, just like you go to school. What you have studied is in your heard and the moment you are not practicing what you studied in another two to three years, you have to rehearse it again, but the Words of God are always in our heart.

Q: Lagos State Government is talking about wealth of churches and they want to tax churches. Do you support this move?

The wealth of the church is the strength of the church, and the strength of the church is the Holy Spirit – so what are you talking about? How would you now tax the Holy Spirit? When you are out there looking at the church, it’s a place of refuge for everybody when there are economic crises. People are jobless; when you are given a sack letter, the next place you think of is the church, when you are sick, you run to the church. Somebody who receives a sack letter from his office, is the Pastor still expecting money from such person? A pastor that does that is receiving a curse. I will advise the government not to share a cruse from any minister of God that is collecting money from people they are supposed to give money to. Government should not join them in sharing the curse. People are being sacked and that’s what’s happening in the country today. If you are sacked, the Pastor is supposed to restore hope and strength to you, give you money to invest, go to their store and give you at least a bag of rice that will sustain you until you get another job. These people are a burden to the church – but when you are looking at the church from a distance, you will think they are bringing money… So, if any Pastors sees it as a means of extorting money from the under-privileged people, that Pastor is receiving a curse. There is no need to tax churches because they are not making money, and if anybody starts making money at the expense of other people, the person is getting a curse – and I don’t want government to share in that curse.

Q: You have other arms of the church like charity, deliverance, reconciliation, prophecy, healing and others. What has it been like over the years handling all these responsibilities?

A: This is the problem the country has brought to us; that is what we are talking about. Here we have a foundation for the youths, a football club. There are about 4000 of them that come from across the country, and we have a bus for them. We are also involved with the destitute in Oko-Baba, you saw the buses given to them and how they are being taken care of and we are giving them scholarships. We have people in Leeds University in London, which is one of the best universities in the world. There are also the widows, the physically challenged – and we have a warehouse where we keep the rice which we give to these people. Each trailer is N5million and we have about four trailers. There are also the aged people – we look for them and take care of them, even the ones that are sick. Of course, you know that to run a football club costs a lot of money. Even the PHCN where they train, we paid heavily to secure it. These are some of the challenges we are facing. So when you now talk about the issue of tax, does it means that we will withdraw all these and use it to pay tax? We are doing more than paying tax. I don’t operate any bank account, not to talk of keeping money here. These people are my bank account. I believe so much in this so that in the nearest future, people can stand and say, ‘I am now this through the grace of God in the life of TB Joshua’.

Q: Is that the basis for grooming these young ones around you from abroad?

I will not answer that now; let me finish the issue of leadership. Let’s move forward. One of the key issues why we are having problems, especially in Africa, is that there is no way Africa can develop without taking this pattern I am going to talk about now. In developed countries, they exchange their mineral resources with another one – but in our case, we exchange our mineral resources with money. Look at our oil; the Western countries come to take our oil and give us pounds and dollars. For Nigeria to develop, they should exchange oil for technology. Go to Russia, whatever mineral resources they have there, they exchange with American technology and whatever America needs from them, they exchange it with technology; the same thing happens in other developed countries all over the world – but our own is money. The gift of God to us, our inheritance, to develop people’s skills, we keep exchanging for dollars and pounds. And when we collect the money, we will not keep it in our banks here. We will still carry it back to the banks of the people that gave us the money, and they will say they are keeping it for us. They will say they are keeping it in foreign reserve, and that actually has kept us in the level we are today. So tell me how we can develop? From the beginning of this Niger-Delta crisis, if these boys had seen that their oil is being exchanged for technology instead of money, I tell you, there will be employment, light, improved telephone service, and good quality education – do you think they will fight? Look at our universities today. People go overseas to study. Well, it’s not too late because we have mineral resources and they should exchange it for technologies and other things we don’t have, not money. Don’t give us fish; teach us how to fish.

Q: With healing happening on a daily basis, on the average, how many people get healed here?

Since the healing is from God, do you need to test or examine and mark God’s work? The credit is for God. No matter how many people that are healed, you cannot mark God; it’s man we can mark. After we must have done everything humanly possible, we still need to leave it for God. For just coming here today, you have received healing.

Q: From a spiritual angle, how do you think the worldwide economic meltdown will have impact on Nigeria?

A: I think what is happening concerning the economy is a normal thing, because where the voices are not one, you expect things like this to happen. God is only very merciful – by now, we are supposed to be crying. Nigeria is not counted out of this. You are in this country; you know what is happening and you know the mismanagement. If you mismanage your product, you’ll get a shortage – that’s exactly what is happening.

Q: But you said in one of your prophecies that we are yet to see anything concerning this economic meltdown?

A: Yes, have you seen anything? What have you seen? You are only seeing the flame. When you see fire, you see flame – but we are yet to see the fire. There is no solution, there is nothing we can do – it’s a matter of time. But we will pass through it with a lesson. God wants to use it to strengthen our desire for Him.

Q: Has any of the world leaders called to ask you for a way out of this economic crises?

A: You want me to begin to mention the names of Presidents in your Newspaper (General Laughter)! My friend, when you talk like this, I know where you are going. I want to tell you that it is part of the gift; the anointing God has given to me. The way and manner God executes His plan in our lives differs. Some He sent them to the village to minister, some to the community and some among his own race, some to another race and colour, while some anointing touches Kings and Queens, Presidents. Therefore, by our fruits you know the kind of anointing we bear. We are anointing carriers, but when you look at us you know the kind of anointing we carry. So it’s not for us to begin to tell you – ‘this is what I am doing’.

Q: When is Nigeria going to have a leader that will take us to the Promised Land? There is poverty in the country…

A: Well, what do you mean by Promised Land? Until what they inherited from their past predecessors is no longer burdensome. Like the issue of administration, the person in power is still battling with what he inherited, he has not started a new thing. Some may continue battling with theirs throughout their tenure. I hope you understand what I am saying. It’s like somebody’s father dying and there is a huge debt to settle. You realise that either you denounce that father or carry the responsibility. You begin to pay the debt for his house and other things – and that may take your time and career.

I think the problem is that we have many leaders, but we fail to take time to develop people’s skills – they have no disciples. No one can go it alone, even Jesus Christ knew this and that was why He had disciples. But we have leaders without disciples in every area. Not in the political circle alone, but churches too. Take your mind back to some late great men of God in Nigeria, how many of them had disciples? Look at the political circle; take your mind back to the olden days – how many of them had disciples? It takes time to develop people’s skills, but how many people will do that? You will be persecuted and hated even among the people you are developing. Many of them will be Judas and in the process of developing them, they will go out and say all sorts of things against you, they want to bring you down- but at the end of the day, you still see one or two of them that are good. Of course, you know what happened to Jesus because He was developing skills, making disciples. People are afraid to develop skills, because in the process of developing people’s skills, you look at the repercussion. When you weigh the disadvantages and advantages, one would be afraid to go into it – but the future is great because you will live forever if you take time to develop people’s skills and make disciples out of them.

This is what the Bible said. It says – Go ye into the world and make disciples. Look at everywhere – even in your journalism circle. You know of great journalists, editors, publishers – but where are their disciples today? Those disciples either turned around to become senators, governors or others things, or they just abandoned their profession. Even if you become a senator tomorrow, that does not mean you should abandon your profession. It is your profession; you should establish it, employ people to manage it while you supervise. Look at farmers. Go to the village you hardly see anybody in the village today, all of them are coming to the city. We have leaders without disciples – and no one can go it alone. We need good people, inspired people and informed people to achieve our dreams and objectives – and Jesus knew this.

Q: Presidents have visited you from other countries and you’ve visited them also. Here in Nigeria we’ve not had a situation where any Nigerian President has visited. Is it a situation of a prophet not being recognised in his homeland?

A: A point of correction – to be conferred with the OFR is a recognition. I’ve never had any honour like that. That is appreciation, but the manner of approach differs. So I think it’s still normal. Everything big starts little. If something big starts big, it calls for concern.

Q: You appear too simple. Why?

A: It’s because I am in the midst of people. If you go out there, you will pity the people. People are there at the bus stops waiting for vehicles and they can stand there for hours. Sometimes I ask myself where these people work. What kind of job will you go to at any time you feel – that means a lot of them keep changing jobs. So how can their lives be stable – and success demands a stable character. When your character and attitude is not stable, you are far from success. You say ‘it’s good’ today, tomorrow you say ‘it’s not good’, you are far from success. God’s Word is constant; He is still the same yesterday, today and forever. What you need to do is to seek the things from above so that you may be comforted in the face of whatever situation you are in. Just like I said earlier – Jesus has risen. Therefore, let your mind rise and seek the things that are above so that we may be comforted in the face of our situation. You say people are suffering? Jesus has risen – tell your people to seek the things that are above so that they may be comforted in the face of their situation.

Q: How would you want to be remembered?

A: The Apostles paid the supreme price to bring the Gospel. Some were stoned, some were crucified upside down – so if you must be one of the disciples of Jesus, you must be ready to follow Jesus, bearing His cross, bearing His reproach. You must know the fellowship of His suffering.

FALSE ACCUSATIONS – TB JOSHUA AND SCOAN NEED TO BE ON SECURITY ALERT

tb joshua, scoan prophet

T.B. Joshua – The World Most Persecuted Man of God – Many Attempt have been Made to Kill Him and Smear His Reputation!

With the recent revelation by an upcoming celebrity, Vicki Royce that she was contacted and paid by some persons to accuse TB Joshua of rape should be a thing of concern to any right-minded person, that despise evil. Indeed, the hearth of Man is desperately wicked!

It seems the media are even trying to downplay this shocking revelation and we know how it would have been blown out of proportion if it was the other way around.

It is obvious that these persons that are after the life of Prophet T.B. Joshua are not given up anymore soon. They are ready to do anything inhumanly possible to see the downfall of the Prophet. We know they shall fail because He that is with us is more than them.

We know these persons are very powerful and they have influence in world government. It is both a local and international collaboration. They were the gang that launched the attacked on the SCOAN guest house that led to the death of innocent souls – the Martyrs of Faith, of Blessed Memory.

Remember, one of the few reasons the Prophet gave for stopping overflow congregation was the possibility of a security breach or attack.

Based on historical events and recent experiences, we would want the Prophet and the SCOAN families worldwide to take note of these possible methods these bad guys may use to launch their attack. We should not take anything for granted this time around and we must be very prayerful and watchful because these evil doers seem to be very much active now.

  1. AEROPLANE BOMB ATTACK: The Prophet must make sure that a comprehensive background security check is done on any flight he and his team board. Even the pilot of the plane must be properly checked. This is one of the modern methods these powerful evil establishments kill great men and women they believed to be a threat to their demonic interest.
  2. GIFT/LETTER BOMB ATTACK: The Prophet should not be allowed to open or received any gift/letter directly. Such gift and letter should first go through some security check and if someone must open the package, it should either be the sender or someone else and not TB Joshua himself.
  3. PROFESSIONAL SNIPER/ASSASSIN: In the day of the attacked on the SCOAN guest house, the military aeroplane that was used to attack the building was also spotted at the prayer mountain; knowing that the Prophet was there. It was said there was a Sniper – a professional shooter that was in that plane to shoot the Prophet but thank God they failed, because of God’s protective shade covering the Prophet. Remember that the Prophet was the actual target.

The SCOAN must build up a strong security surveyance around the Prophet. Especially when he is going out for a revival program. And before the Prophet travel for an international crusade, he must get an assurance from the government of that nation that his security will be a priority.

  1. ESPIONAGE THREAT: The SCOAN is already used to international spies visiting/invading the Ministry. They come to the SCOAN under the disguise of being an international visitor and some discipleship. SCOAN should not take this spy threat for granted. Because most of their intentions are evil and some may be there to harm the Prophet.
  2. POISON: In our present disposition, there is more advance method now that one can be poison. So, the Prophet must be careful with those he makes contacts with. From what he eats, the air and even through handshake one can be poison. We know God is with the Prophet, but he too must watch his back.
  3. GOING AFTER THOSE THAT ARE CLOSE TO THE PROPHET: The family members of the Prophet – the wife and daughters are also points of targets. Even those that have publicly associated with the Prophet can also be blackmail and their reputation smear. Someone like the President of Tanzanian and others that have publicly associated with the Prophet should watch their back. They should know that those that want to kill the Prophet hate them too.
  4. ATTACK ON SCOAN AGAIN: Whenever you visit the SCOAN you must be security conscious. You need to know that these bad guys are not done yet with their attack on the SCOAN. There is so many Prophecy out there that revealed that these evil doers will attack SCOAN again.

They are ready to do anything to make sure that they scare people from coming to the SCOAN for their healings and deliverances. These evil establishments are agents of darkness and they are not happy with the work of freedom that God is doing in the life of the people that visit the SCOAN.

  1. FALSE ACCUSATION TO TARNISH THE PROPHET REPUTATION: We are already used to this method of false accusation against T.B. Joshua and his ministry. Just like the English proverb that says, “Give a dog a bad name and hang him.” Just as we all are witnessing the false rape allegations that are treading now. These are met to give a bad name to the Prophet and smear his reputation. With that, they can easily attack him without much resistance from the people.

It is important to note that we are not limiting the spotlight to those few points listed here. We must be on an active outlook and guide ourselves against any form of evil games and trick they may want to use. They will even come with mind games that will make us start doubting if indeed the Prophet is of God. In the place of doubt and unbelieved, you must always remember to make the Word of God your last point of call.

We are not writing this to scare anybody, we are only sensitising the people and preparing their mind for the worst. We should always know that they will attack. Don’t forget that lives have already been lost and more life may also go too. But the role each and every one of us will play, as a family of this great commission of the gospel, of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ will help to minimize the effects, of this present battle between the kingdom of Light and the kingdom of darkness. MAY YOUR FAITH NEVER FAINT AMID TRIBULATIONS…AMEN!

BIBLE SUPPORT TO PERSECUTE TB JOSHUA

“Persecution is a tonic to my anointing” says Prophet T.B. Joshua. If one should take time to go through the scores of allegation and fabricated stories that has been leveled against this humble Prophet of God, one would wonder why so much hate against this gifted soul whose ‘only wrong’ is to positively affect the lives of many and make the world a better place to live in.

When you tune to Emmanuel.tv and you possibly have a glimpse of what the prophet does to the orphans, widows, widowers, the less privileged and many others.  Obviously, one will appreciate beyond every reasonable doubt that Prophet T.B Joshua is a man of ‘mission and vision’ whose only purpose is to serve and save souls. But despite his humble disposition and services towards God and humanity, he still remains the most persecuted man of God even when there are other men of God that live in luxury with fleet of cars and private jets littered all over and do not care so much for the needy, but they are celebrity pastors today. Does it imply that many in this generation are insinuating that doing good and positively affecting the lives of others is evil?

The accusers of the Prophet claim that Prophet T.B Joshua is making use of satanic powers to heal and deliver those that are in bondage. Then I will promptly ask, can a bad tree yield edible fruits? The scripture has already made us understand the purpose and mission of Satan here on earth and it is, to kill, steal and destroy. But, how come the devil whose mission is to cause havoc and destruction is now using someone with such a unique grace to heal, deliver and ridicule himself and his kingdom before the eyes of the whole world. Christ was accused by the Pharisees of using the power of Satan to cast out demons from the demon possessed but He replied His accusers as stated in Mathew 12:25:

“And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand”.

Can a kingdom be divided against itself? To me, I don’t think Satan is that foolish to stand against his own efforts to kill, steal and destroy. The ministry of Prophet T.B Joshua has remained very significant, renowned and indeed proves that God is with us and there is power in the name Jesus. Many have being healed, the occult accept Christ as their lord and savior, those in bondage get freedom, broken marriages reconciled and many more too numerous to mention. Instead of fighting and condemning this great and humble prophet that has elevated the kingdom of God above that of Satan in our present generation, why not pray for him?

Remember as Christians, Satan our adversaries lose no time in plotting against the Church of God, we too as believers should lose no time in committing our ways and ourselves completely to God through prayer in other not to be misled by his deceptive tendencies against the Church Of God.

In spite of all the persecution he has gone through, what makes me so delighted is that Prophet TB Joshua’s anointing is increasing exponentially like a huge fire that cannot be quenched; but it’s a pity that many are still misled by those critics and accusers of God’s Prophet who are already helping God to play His judgment role.

In a nutshell, I wish the Prophet and wise Men more years of unstoppable victory over the shades of darkness and winning of more souls into the kingdom of light by the blood of Jesus Christ and the fire of the Holy Ghost… Amen.

TB Joshua The Rejected Corner Stone

TB Joshua Church Lagos | watchedtbjoshua.wordpress.com

This article is written in capital letter just as presented by the author

I AM WRITING ABOUT PROPHET TB JOSHUA, WHOM I REFERRED TO AS THE REJECTED STONE WHICH HAS BECOME THE CORNER STONE TO MANY, ESPECIALLY NON NIGERIANS AND NIGERIANS IN DIASPORA. A POPULAR SAYING GOES LIKE THIS; A PROPHET IS NEVER RESPECTED IN HIS OWN LAND OR A PROPHET IS NEVER RESPECTED BY HIS OWN PEOPLE, THIS IS JUST THE SAME AS THE PREDICAMENT OF PROPHET TB JOSHUA.

INITIALLY, I NEVER LIKED HIM, SIMPLY BECAUSE PEOPLE (NIGERIANS) HAD POISONED THE PUBLIC’S MIND THAT TB JOSHUA IS NEVER FROM GOD. UNFORTUNATELY, I WAS A VICTIM OF THIS RUMOR WHICH HOVERS ALL OVER NIGERIA WITHOUT ANY CONCRETE PROOF THAT HE IS NOT FROM GOD ALMIGHTY. IN HIS BEGINNING, HE WAS ACCUSED OF NOT MENTIONING JESUS CHRIST’S NAME IN HIS MINISTRATIONS, MANY CONDEMNED AND DISLIKED HIM BECAUSE OF HIS LONG BEARDS THAT MADE HIM LOOKED LIKE THE ANCIENT PROPHETS, WHICH WE ARE NOT USE TO THESE DAYS. IRONICALLY, WE ALL READ AND FOLLOW THE BIBLE TEACHINGS AND I BELIEVE THAT GOING BY THE PICTURES OF THE OLD APOSTLES AND DISCIPLES OF CHRIST LIKE PETER, PAUL, JAMES ETC, THEY ALL KEPT BEARDS BUT NO ONE USED THEIR APPEARANCE TO DISAPPROVE THEM OR THEIR WORK IN CHRIST.

PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW THAT GOD’S WAYS AND UNDERSTANDING ARE VERY CONFUSING TO HUMAN, AND HUMAN STANDARDS CANNOT BE COMPARED TO HIS STANDARDS IN ANY FORM. LIKE I SAID BEFORE, I NEVER BELIEVED THIS MAN (PROPHET TB JOSHUA), EVEN WITHOUT LISTENING TO HIS MINISTRATIONS, I DISAPPROVED HIM BECAUSE OF THE RUMORS BEING SPREAD AROUND ABOUT HIM, NOT UNTIL I STARTED WATCHING AND LISTENING TO HIS MINISTRATIONS THROUGH EMMANUEL TV, BEFORE I STARTED NOTICING THAT THIS MAN IS ACTUALLY PREACHING THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST THE WAY IT WAS BEING PREACHED IN THE BIBLE. TRULY SPEAKING, I’VE COME TO REALIZE THAT TB JOSHUA’S MIRACLES, TEACHINGS AND PREACHINGS ARE EXACTLY THE SAME THING THAT WE READ IN THE BIBLE, WHETHER YOU BELIEVE IT OR NOT, TRY AND WATCH HIM WITHOUT ANY BIAS IN YOUR MIND AND YOU WILL SEE WHAT I MEAN. NEVERTHELESS, I DO NOT MEAN THAT EVERYBODY SHOULD DISOWN HIS SPIRITUAL FATHER IN CHRIST AND FOLLOW TB JOSHUA, NO IT’S IMPOSSIBLE BECAUSE EVEN OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST WHO IS THE ROLE MODEL FOR CHRISTIANS IS NOT GENERALLY ACCEPTED BY HIS OWN COMMUNITY WHERE HE CAME FROM, AND THIS LEAD TO HIS DEATH ON THE CROSS OF CALVARY WHICH EVENTUALLY BROUGHT ABOUT THE GRACE THAT YOU AND I ARE ENJOYING EVERYDAY OF OUR SINFUL LIFE.

I THINK OUR GENERATION OF CHRISTIANS ARE NOT USE TO THE OLD GENERATION PROPHETS, LIKE ELIJAH, ELISHA MOSES, MICAH ETC, THAT IS THE REASON WE FIND IT DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND TB JOSHUA AND HIS MINISTRATIONS. MANY PEOPLE INCLUDING MEN OF GOD ARE CONFUSED ABOUT HIM JUST BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT TRACE HIS MENTOR OR SPIRITUAL FATHER, THAT ILLUSION MADE IF VERY DIFFICULT FOR THEM TO ACCEPT HIM GENERALLY, BUT THEY FORGOT THAT GOD CAN TRANSFORM ANY MEDIUM (STONE, WATER, ETC), NOT ONLY HUMAN BEINGS TO SPREAD HIS GOOD NEWS TO THE WORLD. JESUS CHRIST’S MOTHER (MARY) CONCEIVED HIM THROUGH THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD AS AT THEN NEVER BELIEVED IN THIS MYSTERY WHICH ELUDED HUMAN UNDERSTANDING TILL DATE.

LISTENING TO TB JOSHUA’S TEACHINGS, I’VE COME TO THE UNDERSTANDING THAT PEOPLE INCLUDING BORN AGAIN CHRISTIANS CALL NAMES TO WHATEVER THEY DID NOT UNDERSTAND, INSTEAD OF EXAMINING THEIR OBSCURITIES IN THE LIGHT OF GOD’S WORD OR ASKING GOD’S OPINION ABOUT CERTAIN CONFUSED CONCEPTS, THEY WILL GENERALIZE THEIR CONCLUSIONS BASED ON WHAT THE SITUATIONS LOOK LIKE, WHAT THEY SEE, WHAT THEY READ OR HEAR IN THE MEDIA. IF I MAY SUGGEST, IT’S HIGH TIME THAT CHRISTIANS RESULTED TO SEEKING GOD’S OPINION ABOUT CERTAIN ILLUSIONS, SO AS NOT TO ENTER INTO TEMPTATION, BECAUSE THE BIBLE SAYS THAT WE SHOULD NOT JUDGE IN OTHER NOT TO BE JUDGED.
FINALLY, MY BIBLE MADE ME TO UNDERSTAND THAT EVERYONE WILL BE SUBJECTED TO GOD’S JUDGEMENT WHEN THE TRUMPET SOUNDS, SO BEING A PROPHET, PASTOR, EVANGELIST, CHRISTIAN OR EVEN A PAGAN DOES NOT GUARANTEE NO ONE A PLACE IN HEAVEN WHEN THE TRUMPET SOUNDS.
