NEWSPAPER INTERVIEW WITH PROPHET TB JOSHUA

Here are excerpts from an interview which Prophet TB Joshua had with some journalists several weeks ago at The SCOAN Prayer Mountain. It was published today in This Day Newspapers.

QUESTION: What motivated the vision to create this Prayer Mountain, a ‘wilderness’ in an urban area?

ANSWER: This is where I started. I must have a library and a place where I can enjoy nature, not the air condition or fan, just nature as God created it. So, having nature around you is very good. God is nature Himself and without nature, you cannot understand the Bible. Because the Bible is not history; when you are reading the Bible, you are reading the Holy Spirit. So, if you don’t allow nature when you are reading, you will be reading history. You need some places like this – where you leave everything outside and come and hear the cocks’ crow. But outside of here, whatever they are doing, you can’t hear because of the noise. So, this place is very important to me – this is where I live, this is where I sleep and do everything.

If I want to meet people outside of here, I go outside. There is a time for that because the Bible says that there is time to rest and a time to work. Time to rest is time to receive from God and time to work is time to give what you receive from God. When you talk of time to rest, this is the best place to rest, not in the midst of technology or going to New York or travelling about but you rest in the midst of nature.

QUESTION – How did this Prayer Mountain start, given that this place was once a swamp?

ANSWER – This swamp is the rejected stone. God spoke to me and brought me here. I have been following God’s vision, God’s mission. When I am out of God’s mission, I am finished. That is why you cannot see me outside of here; you cannot hear me.

God’s time is the best and I always follow God’s time. So, I have been following God’s time; that is why you will not see me preach every Sunday or go on television to preach every day. I must hear from God before saying anything. Every time can be good for you and every time can be the best time for you but for me, I must have a corresponding grace or power because the Holy Spirit must suggest what to do before I do them. If not, I will not be able to have God’s result.

This is why you are not seeing me out there – at weddings, social occasions, coming to your offices to grant interviews. This is the only church – The SCOAN here in Ikotun. There is no other branch anywhere else in the world but it touches everywhere in the world. I am waiting for God to let me know if there will be branches or not; the important thing is that we should focus on building the people and not the church.

QUESTION – Why don’t you open up this place for tourists?

ANSWER – The people will soon get to know about it. We are just waiting for God’s time. There are many things to be done in this place. We are at about a 70 per cent completion rate. So, if people should know about this place now, we would not be able to complete this job because it will cause distraction. When we are at about 95 per cent completion level, we will let people know. It is going to be by grace. It is not something you pay money for; you can come and see people moving and praying. So, people will get to know; we are waiting for God’s time.

QUESTION – What do you have to say about your family and their involvement in the ministry?

ANSWER – I am very happy about this question. I have a wife and I have children. My first daughter is doing her PhD and my second daughter is doing her master’s degree. In all, I have three daughters. The last one is still in secondary school. I would have loved my wife to be like me but I cannot make her what I am; it is God. I can’t anoint her; God is the one that anoints people. This is not a biological issue; it is an inheritance from the saints – being a partaker of the inheritance from the saints. So, therefore, I should not use anything in my biological life to stop my spiritual life.

As for my divine nature, I am a partaker of the inheritance of the saints. This is an apostolic ministry; it is not a ministry where you read the Bible, go to theology school, get your certificate and you start preaching! No. It is purely divine. So, it is so difficult for me to display my wife, she has to be ready for God. As much as you are ready for God, God will display you.

QUESTION – How do you take such criticism that your ministry has faced?

ANSWER – It is always good if at the beginning they don’t see what is good about you. If they don’t see your journey at the beginning, they will criticise you. It is good for you in the end. So, if they praise you from the beginning, it is not encouraging. If Nigerians have been accepting me right from the beginning of my mission, I think that would have affected my mission to the world.

I have gone all over the world. I am the first minister of God that went to Nazareth, Israel where Jesus was born and organised a revival there and the news was carried in newspapers all over the world. After the crusade, a certificate was given to me by the State of Israel. That is the greatest joy for any minister of God!

QUESTION – But why was there so much controversy about the Nazareth Crusade?

ANSWER – Because it happened to Jesus, I cannot be greater than my Master. A tenant cannot be greater than his landlord. If the landlord is criticised, who is a tenant? That is exactly what happened to Jesus. They said no. The Muslims were on the streets protesting along with Christians, Catholics and all. But I let them know that God sent me to do the revival in Israel. And top Israeli government functionaries came. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also sent his representative.

TB Joshua’s Meeting In Nazareth Is Rebranding Africa’s Image Abroad

tb joshua ministryIhechukwu Njoku writes from Lagos, Nigeria

In the last week, Israeli media has been awash with news of the controversial visit of Nigerian cleric T.B. Joshua to Nazareth.

Initial news of the visit ignited a furore among apprehensive religious leaders from both the Muslim and Orthodox Christian sector but the tone among locals has emphatically shifted in the aftermath of the successful event.

Dele Momodu, the larger-than-life owner of Ovation Magazine and erstwhile presidential candidate in Nigeria, was among the visitors in Israel to attend the much-publicised Christian event in Jesus’ hometown.

Whilst traversing the ‘Holy Land’, he sampled opinions regarding the controversial cleric and was surprised at the warm response of Israeli’s.

“Joshua-mania hits Israel… It is incredible how T.B. Joshua is wowing the people of Israel,” wrote Momodu to his 500,000 followers on Instagram, subsequently sharing short video clips of taxi drivers speaking glowingly of the cleric.

“Joshua is a good man,” a Nazarene driver named Alosh ecstatically remarked to Momodu. “He is always welcome to Israel. Everyone knows him here and we love him!”

Buttressing Momodu’s assertion, the Mayor of Nazareth, Ali Sallam, touted the economic benefit derived by Joshua’s visit in an interview with local Arabic media, stating the region of Nazareth would accrue up to $1,000,000 as a result of the influx of tourists.

A Nigerian living in Israel named Kennedy stated that Israeli reactions towards him – and his fellow Africans living in the nation – had significantly brightened after Joshua’s two-day event.

“Many of us Africans who work here in Israel are treated with suspicion and we sometimes feel marginalised,” the Tel-Aviv based electrician originally from Imo State said in a video posted online.

“But after TB Joshua’s visit, I have observed a notable difference. Many people have approached to ask me more about Nigeria; they are responding far more positively to me and black people in general,” he stated. “I can testify that T.B. Joshua’s meeting in Nazareth is rebranding Africa’s image abroad.”

Writing on Facebook, Julian H – a pilgrim from UK who attended the event – recounted the experience of how an Arabian seller at a local market gave him free fruit after learning he had attended the meeting with Joshua.

“He told me he watched the event live on a local station and was amazed that miracles can still happen today in Nazareth,” the Brit explained.

“Whether you hate this man or like him, the fact remains that T.B Joshua is Nigeria’s biggest export to the world at the moment,” penned Chukwudi Iwuchukwu, a lawyer and social media influencer, on Facebook.

“No other Nigerian – dead or alive – has the capacity to attract such global media attention except him, which makes him one of Africa’s biggest ever icons,” he bluntly wrote.

Opinion among the local Muslim community in Nazareth – which was significantly divisive before the event – has also swung heavily in the pastor’s favour in the aftermath.

“I thought Joshua was coming to try and force us to convert,” an Arabic clothes vendor named Habib stated.

“But I realise he is just a good man with a message of love for all. Also, I sold more in this last week than in the last four months combined because of the tourists he brought to our town – so he’s definitely welcome back!”

A young group of Arabic men admitted they actually attended the event to mock it. “I went with my friends for a joke. I thought they were all a bunch of actors but when I saw someone whom I personally knew receive healing, I started taking it seriously,” wrote Ahmed Dahar in Arabic on Facebook.

The two-day meeting, which has been viewed 500,000 times on Emmanuel TV’s YouTube channel since its broadcast, also received coverage from international media such as The New York Times and Reuters.

Prophet T.B. Joshua and the Journey to Nazareth – Dele Momodu

Prophet T.B. Joshua and Chief Dele Momodu

This article is an eyewitness account of the Nazareth Meeting with T.B. Joshua by Chief Dele Momodu.

Mr Momodu is a Nigerian journalist/publisher, businessman, philanthropist and motivational speaker. He is the CEO and publisher of Ovation International, a magazine that has given publicity to people from all over the world, mainly in Africa.

The article was actually being addressed to the Nigerian public. However, it is interesting to read.

Fellow Nigerians, let me say how delighted I feel right now that I made the trip to Israel this past week. Israel is not new to me just like I’m not new to Israel. In addition, I have good friends from that small, but extremely powerful nation. I will return to that shortly, as this trip was full of drama.

Let’s begin with Act 1, Scene 1. I had no intention of heading to Israel at this time, my studies in Oxford and a couple of projects in Nigeria and Ghana meant that travelling to that side of the world was not in my consciousness at all.  However, God must have planned the journey without my knowledge. The trip dropped itself on my laps without warning.

I had received a call from one of the most prayerful and extremely benevolent women of God, Reverend Mother Abimbola Esther Ajayi, popularly known by her moniker, Iya Adura, who incidentally had invited and taken me to Jerusalem, between 2017 and 2018. On the trip I got introduced to a very efficient tour operator, Shadia, who took good care of all of us.

The call from Iya Adura, with whom I talk almost daily on several issues, this time was at the instance of Shadia who wanted an introduction and recommendation to the incredibly popular Prophet, Temitope Balogun Joshua (T.B. Joshua), who has been a long-time friend and Brother of mine. Iya Adura apparently told Shadia she has no contact for or association with T. B Joshua but mentioned my name as one person that can definitely reach Prophet T. B Joshua who happens to be one of the most sought-after human beings in Africa, and beyond. So, Mama called, and I swung into action immediately.

I started by calling all the numbers I had for Prophet T. B Joshua but couldn’t reach him directly. I left messages but got no instant response. However, two days later he sent a text that he’d also been trying my numbers in Nigeria, Ghana and the United Kingdom since the day before upon seeing my calls and messages. I obviously did not recognize the number he was calling from and I did not get to reply immediately. I quickly called him, and we spoke with our usual conviviality. I told him the reason I wanted to speak to him, and he requested for Shadia’s number with automatic alacrity and promised to reach out to her instantly. I felt greatly honoured that such an incredibly busy man could accord me such respect. To my utter amazement, I confirmed from Shadia minutes later that he reached out to her as promised.

I thought that was all. My introduction and task were over, I withdrew into my shell, but it was not to be for long. Days later, I got a call from Prophet T. B Joshua asking me to join him on his trip to Nazareth for a powerful crusade. There was no way I could have said no to him. I immediately accepted his invitation. I promised to travel from London to Israel as I had to return to the University of Oxford where I have been on Fellowship. He promised to call back and we spoke a few more times before the journey.

Act 1, Scene 2. All was set and I seriously looked forward to visiting the birthplace of our Lord Jesus Christ. On the day of travel, I arrived London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 early, as I always do. I hate to arrive late to the airport like some people do and start rushing and panting. The best part of the journey for me is exhaustively making use of the lounges of airlines like Emirates, Virgin Atlantic and British Airways. You can do with a bit of pampering before you fly. Well, at least I can! On this occasion, I was flying with British Airways and once through the departure formalities I promptly went into the Concorde Lounge and buried myself into the sheer luxury that the it has to offer.

After leaving the lounge on this special day, I boarded my flight early and settled down comfortably in my seat. Then a message flew in from my cousin that there were reports of possible trouble for Prophet T. B Joshua in Nazareth. I opened the link and there were tales of different groups including Christians, Rabbis and Muslims, objecting seriously to the planned crusade by T. B Joshua. I foresaw an apocalypse ahead but knowing myself well enough, I was actually energized and more determined to witness whatever would happen on the day. Journalists are like soldiers; we love and revel in action and the big news.

I landed in Tel Aviv late evening of June 21, 2019, but due to the long walk to Immigration desks and the queues, I only managed to pick my bags past midnight and arrived the Ramada Hotel, in Nazareth, at a time most normal people were fast asleep and probably snoring away. Throughout my taxi drive to Nazareth, I was on the lookout for any sign of trouble but saw none at all. The events were billed to start on June 23 and end on June 24. I went to bed dog-tired and barely struggled to wake up for breakfast at about 10a.m.

Not much happened until D-Day, June 23. There was palpable tension because of the negative news that had gone viral. Will the crusade go on or not was the million-dollar question on every lip? But the organizers were unperturbed. They went about their duty with every sense of purpose and responsibility. Nothing was left to chance. Security was top of the agenda. They were determined not to let anyone come to constitute a nuisance. On a regular day, Israel never jokes with Security not to talk of an unusual day such as this.

You must give it to T. B Joshua, he meticulously executed this project. His team was just superb. The attendees came from different parts of the world. Wow, we seem to underrate T. B Joshua back home. Without sounding profane, he is regarded and treated like a supernatural being in Israel. He is adored and worshipped with great fervour indeed. When I landed at Tel Aviv airport, several people asked me with admiration and enthusiasm if I had come for T. B Joshua’s program. I was so proud that a fellow Nigerian has succeeded in capturing the imagination of this part of the world in this manner.

Act 1, Scene 3. The event started slowly at about 4pm with some soul-lifting and stirring music by the choir assembled as a potpourri of Arabs and Africans. It came to a crescendo when T. B Joshua came in humbly, but powerfully, in his usual garb of shirt and trousers. He looked so majestic and mercurial even in his simplicity. He climbed the stage and grabbed the microphone and the audience roared as he began to teach like a true follower of Christ and the Holy Bible that he is.  His theme for this first session was about love and he quoted copiously about love from the holy book to the excitement and adulation of the throngs of people massed and gathered to watch, listen and worship with him.   He told them to love those who hate and despise them, no matter how difficult that seems.

His opening words were dramatic and foreshadowed the intense passion that was to follow. “My name is T. B Joshua. Some people call me Prophet. Some call me Pastor… They have given me different titles, but all I know is that my name is T. B Joshua. That is enough for me…” The crowd went wild in ecstatic jubilation at the simplicity of his introduction of his person. After a few minutes, the prophet came down and came out to be closer and interact with his followers. Miracle seekers had jammed the place in droves. They came from far and near, with all manner of challenges and disabilities. The Prophet who obviously was used to this was unruffled. He told them to have faith in the power of Jesus Christ to deliver them from all evil. He told them all diseases are the handiwork of the devil, but that the Lord, being a merciful, loving and benevolent God would come down to heal them, provided they believed in God as their Lord and Saviour.

Then they were lined up in rows and the Prophet started laying hands on them. Even before touching some of them, they were already reacting with spasms and seemed to be under the control and influence of some supernatural being. He started touching them, and some fell down, some screamed, some rolled on the floor and some did a combination of these things.  Some were thanking God for healing them instantly. Some begged him to have mercy on them. T. B Joshua has totally matured into his evangelical work. It was wonderful and inspiring watching him at work. Meanwhile, his wife, Lady Evelyn, stood solidly behind him like the Rock of Gibraltar and assisted as required. The event ended at about 9p.m without any hitch. The Prophet of the Lord, T. B. Joshua performed miracles and touched hundreds of devotees during the event. The event was simply epochal, and I felt truly privileged to have been a part of it.

Act 2, Scene 1. The second day came and followed the same pattern. In his preaching, T. B Joshua revealed how he had visited Mount Precipice three years ago and was shocked to find the place overgrown with weeds. He had promised at the time to turn the place around and make it into an Eldorado. He showed the video of how desolate and forlorn the place looked at the time. True to his word, T. B. Joshua has radically changed and altered the place and its environment, turning it into a magnificent and powerful amphitheatre for the worship of God. In doing this, he has not only built a testament to the glory of God, he has created direct and indirect employment for hundreds of people and become a wealth creator and facilitator for this little historical and biblical part of Nazareth, as most of Nazareth is. Indeed, it is no longer a site of rejection as the Bible tells us but a site of regeneration and hope. Pope Benedict who worshipped there with more than 40,000 people would be glad to see that today, T B Joshua has restored this monument to the glory that it should have and more besides.

In the course of our visit, I was invited to his office, he had many rooms and tents all over the mountain and wherever I went to I saw the awesome work and wonder of the Man of God. We discussed the magnitude of his work for a few minutes before I departed to the hotel. I left with a better picture and appreciation of a T. B Joshua to whom we don’t seem to give enough respect at home. With what I saw, heard and learnt, I have come to believe that he has suffered too many unjustified insults and tribulations back home.

My take is that religion is a voluntary act. Joshua has never forced anyone to worship with him against that person’s wish or to attend his Synagogue by compulsion. He has not coerced anyone into seeking to receive the miracles he professes to bring to people on behalf of God. Let me say, emphatically, that as far as I am concerned, he is the single biggest tourism attraction in Lagos. I expect Lagos State Government to tap into this goldmine by collaborating with Joshua and turning the roads leading to his place of worship into well maintained expressways. That is what Joshua himself has done in Mount Precipice, but laws, envy, lack of understanding and comprehension as well as the capriciousness of our leaders have made it impossible for him to replicate this feat in his own backyard. This is what would have happened in other climes.

If what I witnessed in Nazareth is anything to judge by, T. B Joshua has become a religious prodigy and icon. My taxi drivers in Nazareth swore by his name. I became a star myself by dropping his name. The newspapers were agog with the news of our Man of God as he spread the gospel at this unique and spectacular event. T B Joshua made me proud to be a Nigerian. It is not all gloom and doom.

I thank God on his behalf…

WE ARE KNOWN BY OUR LOVE | NAZARETH MEETING WITH TB JOSHUA

Prophet T.B. Joshua

The event was The Nazareth Meeting With T.B. Joshua. The venue was The Amphitheatre of Mount Precipice, Nazareth, Israel. It was a gathering of people of different colours and diverse tongues from across the continents. Most importantly, it was an event approved by Heaven. A two-day event of Godly exhortation and prayer, The Meeting focused on the need to love unconditionally in a world where “love has lost its original meaning,” having been “watered down today” since many “love one another for selfish, classic, material reasons,” as Prophet T.B. Joshua noted.

Describing Nazareth – the birthplace of Jesus – as “a humble, wonderful place filled with hardworking people,” the man of God, in stressing the message of love to his keen listeners, said, “We are known by our life and practice not what we say only.” The proof text for the message was taken from Matthew 5:44 – “But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” However, Prophet T.B. Joshua also cited verses 11-12 as well as 43 and 45 of the same Matthew 5. Having taken the kernel of his message from there, he went on to encourage listeners to also read 1 John 3:18, Luke 23: 34, John 13:34 and John 14:15.

With these bits of Scripture, Prophet T.B. Joshua impressed upon the audience the need to show love to those they might consider undeserving of it. Asserting that “what makes us human is not our ability to think but our ability to love one another,” he urged them “to love one another irrespective of race or religion, for love comes from God.” On that note, he ended the sermon for Day 1 by asking the people to start a new way of life by showing love to those who hate, insult or persecute them. In his words: “If you love many people but there are those you do not love because they hate you, then your love is as nothing; the more you love God, the more you love your neighbour.”

Prophet T.B. Joshua continued his message on Christ-like love on Day 2 of the Meeting. He read from 1 Corinthians 13:1-end, picking his proof text from verse 13: “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” For further illustration of the message, he also cited 1 John 4: 7-12, Colossians 3: 12-14. According to the man of God, “God measures our lives by our love for Him and for our neighbour.” Consequently, he said, “anyone who does not love his neighbour, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.”

Regarding genuine godly living, Prophet T.B. Joshua encouraged his listeners to find it in their heart to overlook the mistakes, weaknesses, failures and shortcomings of their neighbours, as Paul urged the Colossians: “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity” (Colossians 3: 12-14). Indeed, the prophet concluded, “love for fellow man breaks down all barriers.”

On both days, after the sermon, Prophet T.B. Joshua stepped down from the altar and prayed for the audience in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The sick were healed, the afflicted were rescued and those in bondage were set free as the people besought God to give them a loving heart to overlook their neighbours’ weaknesses and failures. As the prayer sessions went on, hundreds fell under the power of the anointing as contrary spirits manifested before quitting the lives of the people.

Moreover, words of prophecy also located many in the audience as the Holy Spirit revealed the issues in their lives.

To cap up The Meeting, Prophet T.B. Joshua gave out  ‘Good Morning Nazareth’ T-shirts  as gifts to each attendee, even as he told the people: “The love you give away is the love you keep.”

TB Joshua Hosts Historic Meeting in Nazareth, JESUS’ Hometown

tb joshua ministryBy Ihechukwu Njoku

Nigerian Prophet T.B. Joshua has just concluded a two-day event in Nazareth, the historic hometown of Jesus Christ.

The event tagged ‘Nazareth Meeting With TB Joshua’ was held at the Amphitheatre of Mount Precipice, a site of Biblical significance for Christians.

Thousands of international pilgrims flocked to the event in Northern Israel from over 50 nations, which was additionally broadcast live on Emmanuel TV and local Israeli television in Arabic and Hebrew.

Several prominent personalities and political figures, including the Tanzanian President John Magufuli – who was represented by his wife Janeth – were in attendance.

“I feel humbled walking in the footprints of Jesus,” Joshua told the multi-national crowd, stressing that it was “God’s design” for Jesus to come from Nazareth, which he described as “the morning of Christianity”.

In a heartfelt sermon titled, ‘We are known by our love’, the cleric spoke on the divine significance of love.

“What makes us human is not our ability to think but our ability to love. This means love is life and if we miss love, we miss life,” he exhorted the crowd, emphasising that love must be unconditional.

“If you want to love better, you should start with someone who hates you, has bad feelings towards you, who sees nothing good in you,” he stressed.

Continuing his message the following day, Joshua called on all present to “love one another irrespective of our religion or race for love comes from God”.

According to the cleric, “Love for fellow man breaks down all barriers; it melts all hindrances. Love has ears to hear the heart. It dissolves prejudices, misunderstanding and suspicion.”

Speaking practically, he added, “If we are able to overlook the failures, mistakes and weaknesses of our neighbour, then there is genuine love because there is no perfect man on earth.”

After his exhortation, the cleric began to pray individually for the thousands present at the free-entry event, many who came with various infirmities and sicknesses in hope of a miracle.

Li Gul Chua, who travelled from China, testified that she could walk freely without crutches for the first time in six years after Joshua prayed for her.

Many fell to the floor at Joshua’s touch, immediately rising to declare they were healed or delivered from ‘unclean spirits that tormented them’.

As the event neared completion, the cleric collected an offering to support the Nazareth area, further explaining how the choice of the Amphitheatre of Mount Precipice to host the unique meeting unfolded.

“I visited here three years ago and I saw this place was abandoned,” he explained, showing clips of the unkempt area, overgrown with bushes during his first visit.

“Given the Scriptural significance of this place, I was moved to contact the Mayor, Ali Sallam, and ask his permission to renovate,” he continued, stating this was Emmanuel TV’s “contribution to the place where Jesus’ father and mother came from.”

Joshua also referenced the opposition from some religious figures that accompanied the announcement of his visit to Israel, which intensified in the days leading to the event. “Even though there was rancour, it was an act of God,” he submitted.

He called on the foreign pilgrims present to make Nazareth their “second home”, encouraging them to “visit places such as hospitals, schools and other areas that need your attention and show love because the love we give away is the only love we keep.”

“This is the first time in hundreds of years we have heard the name of Jesus proclaimed publicly in Nazareth,” Pastor Hadad, a Nazarene, emotionally commented, underscoring the significance of the event in the volatile, predominantly Muslim region.

“I used to see Jesus as just a story from history we used to attract tourists,” Itay, an Israeli tour guide, bluntly stated. “Today, I saw – through T.B. Joshua – that the name of Jesus actually has power.”

News of the event reached international media, with coverage in The New York Times, Reuters and Israel’s leading newspapers Haaretz and Jerusalem Post.

TB Joshua Meeting in Nazareth – Day One

By early Sunday afternoon, thousands of international visitors and locals were already streaming toward Mount Precipice, just outside Nazareth. They were of all ages, races and nationalities.

En route to the mount, an Italian painter named Lady Gioconda showed off a huge oil painting of TB Joshua that she had made as a gift for him. She had never before attended one of his events, nor had she ever been in Nazareth before. But she believes the Prophet will bring her the fame she seeks.

“He’s a super, super, super prophet,” she said, adding that she needs him in her work.

The crowd included Israelis, some of whom, like some visitors from other countries, were flying their country’s flag. A few even brought shofars.

A regular member of the church that Joshua founded, the Synagogue, Church of all Nations, said she came from Nigeria because she needed to strengthen her connection with Jesus. She had the feeling that this will be special, she said.

People from Haiti, Tanzania and the Czech Republic were eating watermelon together; all professed excitement. One, a priest from Tanzania, expressed the hope that they all feel Jesus there.

Many people were shading themselves from the sun with umbrellas bearing the name of the Gold Line appliance company. The umbrellas cost 20 shekels ($5.50). The watermelon was expensive at 50 shekels, but a glass of lemonade sold for just eight shekels and visor caps went for 15 to 20 shekels.

A Czech woman who is studying agriculture and economics said this was her first time in Israel, and she was excited to be at Mount Precipice. A Czech engineer said this visit will accomplish two things at the same time – meeting Joshua and visiting the holy site.

Kebela Ele of Botswana said her husband had left her for another woman and wants a divorce, which she does not wish to consent to. She brought the divorce papers to Israel to pray for divine intervention.

A German woman recounted seeing TB Joshua in England earlier this month but came to Israel to see him again. She loves him, she said. Asked what she was praying for, she said she would like to marry someone wonderful.

Ruth Gershonkopf of Ashkelon said she came “to get a new spirit from God.” She has a 10-year-old daughter who was in an accident at the age of 6, she explained with tears in her eyes, and she herself has cancer. She is hoping Joshua can help her daughter and keep her cancer from recurring.

One Tanzanian man wrapped himself in a tallit, a Jewish prayer shawl. He isn’t Jewish, but he loves Judaism, he explained, remarking that Israel is a wonderful country.

After the audience had enjoyed a gospel choir and songs in Arabic, in addition to a rousing rendition of the Hebrew song “Od Yavo Shalom Aleinu” (“We will yet have peace”), a Russian-speaking couple ascended to the stage with a baby. Through a translator, they told the audience that the woman had suffered six miscarriages; another child had died at birth. The child they were holding on stage was born after a meeting with Joshua, and the woman is also pregnant again.

Do you want a miracle too? the emcee asked. Yes! the audience roared back.

Another man got on stage and related how God used the Prophet to cure his stomach ailment. Thank God! God be praised! the audience shouted, clapping thunderously.

A woman said she had been an alcoholic who hated her daughter and beat her. But now, she loves both the girl and her husband. The husband, an Israeli, said he had gone to Nigeria and come back a new man.

Based on the published schedule, Joshua should have already made his appearance. Instead, the choir got the audience dancing and waving their hands in the air with songs about love for Jesus. Most of the audience sang along.

One of the singers exhorted the audience to raise their arms, love God and pour out their hearts so he could touch them. Another woman translated her English exhortations into Hebrew for the locals.

People who came to be healed

At the side of the stage, a screen featured live scenes of audience members falling to their knees, vomiting blood or even collapsing on the ground. A woman from Joshua’s television station who accompanied reporters explained that these were sick people who had come to be healed. The photographers didn’t spare the audience graphic close-ups. Israeli Magen David Adom emergency medics stationed in the crowd didn’t seem to know quite what to do.

TB Joshua finally ascended the stage almost two hours late. After telling the audience that Jesus and his mother, Mary, had come from the area, he recited verses from the New Testament. The thousands of people in the crowd were utterly silent. The only sound aside from Joshua’s voice was the faint call of the muezzins from Nazareth’s mosques.

He then left the stage to circulate among the crowd. He approached one man who began trembling uncontrollably. He physically touched people and gave one woman a light push. She fell to the ground.

The television crew gave the microphone to a woman with a neck brace. Joshua touched her. She sounded as if she was choking for a few seconds, but then removed the brace, raised her arms and expressed thanks to Jesus.

Next up was a disabled girl who stood up and began walking after Joshua touched her. She wept with excitement. The audience cheered.

And so it went, one after another, until sunset. Some of the people he touched screamed in ecstasy. Others went wild. The captions on the screen at the side of the stage explained that evil was leaving them. The audience watched in silence.

An Israeli security guard expressed the desire that TB Joshua touches him, too.

A woman from Vienna left the event in rapture, proclaiming that the God of TB Joshua had cured her.

Words of LOVE in Nazareth – TB Joshua

TB Joshua At the Amphitheater Mount Precipice

The more you love God, the more you love your neighbor! You cannot love God without loving your neighbor. Your neighbor can be those who do not share the same faith as you. How many of your neighbors are on your daily prayer list? Can you stand in the gap for them? Can you rejoice when they rejoice? Let us love one another irrespective of race or religion, for love comes from God. Whoever does not love does not love God, because God is love.

DAY OF DUMBFOUNDING MIRACLES AS T.B. JOSHUA’S EMMANUEL TV HOLDS EXPLOSIVE CRUSADE IN SHEFFIELD, U.K.

WORLD ACCLAIMED PROPHET T.B. JOSHUA AND INSPIRATION BEHIND
THE EMMANUEL TV REVIVAL IN SHEFFIELD, UK

By Sola Ojewusi

Prophet T.B. Joshua, founder and Senior Prophet of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, is immensely popular in his homeland, Nigeria and the rest of Africa. Despite this popularity, the saying that a Prophet is never fully appreciated in his own homeland rings true in the rather sad and unfathomable way in which the man’s immense contributions, especially religious and charity works are hardly honoured in Africa. But going by the spate of foreign spiritual engagements that have flooded his ministry over the years, especially in these turbulent times, one could easily say that what has not been duly given to Joshua at home is being showered on him in foreign lands. Recent succession of amazing and hugely successful international crusades and revivals programmes coming the way of the Man of God proves this.

On June 1, 2019 the much anticipated crusade in the United Kingdom finally held and from the vibe that followed the event and its live telecast on the Emmanuel TV channel around the world, the pre-crusade hype that this would be a high-profile revival programme did not disappoint. Our correspondent learned that this revival event which was held due to popular demand and as a culmination of years of yearnings from the UK for more tastes of the T.B. Joshua spiritual gifts was a huge success.

BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES OF MRS. AJAKAIYE WHO WAS HEALED AT THE SHEFFIELD REVIVAL PROGRAMME

HOW THE CITY OF SHEFFIELD, U.K. WAS SET AGOG FOR HOURS

Over the years, news emanating from the UK, with a wide cosmopolitan populace, indicate that millions of UK residents have been yearning for revivals in the British Isles and nearby territories. Well, that hunger was great satiated on June 1 this year when the Emmanuel TV Crusade train under the immanent inspiration of Prophet T.B. Joshua finally berthed in Sheffield. Information from national and international news channels indicate that the meticulous and prayerful preparations finally paid off as the FlyDSA ARENA in Sheffield, UK, VENUE OF THE CRUSADE was filled to the brim. The International Evangelist and Christian Miracle Worker, Prophet T.B. Joshua, actually sent a high-powered team to the UK for a Grand Revival, the kind of which the UK had never witnessed and, despite the unavoidable absence of the Man of God himself, the great works of miracle that took place at the event through the ministrations of Joshua’s disciples, Evangelists Chris, Racine and Yinka would reverberate for years to come. Tagged “The Emmanuel TV UK Revival”, reports from across Europe indicate that this event, days after it ended, remains the top buzz among UK residents.

The revival programme in Sheffield actually gave greater stimulus to the growing reputation of T.B Joshua in the UK since the Anointing Water revolution of East London in 2013. Information available to our Correspondent revealed that TB Joshua created a storm of spiritual revival in the UK in that year in the wake of his Anointing Water Revival programme that took place at the Troxy Theatre in East London on Sunday, November 10, 2013. During that event, according to our source, not less than 10,000 worshippers witnessed the T.B. Joshua phenomenon. Joining their counterparts from all over the United Kingdom were pilgrims from countries like Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, France, Belgium, United Arab Emirates, India, Romania, Slovakia, Canada, Austria, Brunei, Australia and Holland. And such was the vastness of the crowd that the line of worshippers trying to gain entry into the venue extended for over a kilometre around and beyond the adjoining streets of The Troxy.

Since these Morning Water Revivals, checks indicate, thousands had travelled to the Lagos, Nigeria headquarters of the SCOAN while millions more who are unable to travel had been looking forward to T.B. Joshua’s coming. Conventional wisdom was that if the events at the Troxy in 2013 and a follow-up Morning Water Revival at the New Bingley Hall, Birmingham and at the University of West London, Brentford a bit later could garner such overwhelming attendances, despite the fact that T.B. Joshua was not physically in attendance, his revival at the Sheffield Revival would surely attract an even more stupendous gathering of worshippers. And, surely, the Sheffield event did not disappoint. It turned out a classic example of the good old days of true Christian revival since the era of the Christ when astonishing, living miracles were performed.

The city of Sheffield had never seen such outpouring of astounding works of miracle. As the event took off without the physical presence of Prophet T.B. Joshua himself, some form of scepticism was natural, because the tendency was for some to think that, without the Man of God himself, miracles would be far and few between. However, what many would gratefully live to see that day was the reassuring fact that the Man of God has so imparted his disciples with the anointing that, present or not, the work of redemption must go on.

One of the amazing miracles of June 1 was that of Gemma Morilla whose healing proved that T.B. Joshua’s anointing transcends the four walls of any place where he is physically present; it radiates to any place in the world where air is breathed.

GEMMA MORILLA BEFORE AND AFTER HER HEALING IN SHEFFIELD

Gemma Morilla, a member of the National Association for the Blind in Spain, who had always relied on a guide dog to move around daily having been legally blind since the tender age of two due to a devastating ailment would soon discover this delightful truth. Having suffered less than 10% vision, for 35 years, Gemma could not in her wildest imagination know that the Sheffield crusade would put a stop to her suffering. At the Emmanuel TV UK Revival in Sheffield everything changed for Gemma after receiving a divine touch that brought her to full sight!

Gemma was not the lone beneficiary of this Christian redemption. Lorena, described as a traumatised terrorist attack survivor also received a dumbfounding miracle!!!
A survivor of the 11th March 2004 co-ordinated terrorist attack against four commuter trains in Madrid which killed 193 people and injured almost 2,000, Gemma suffered both physically and psychologically, including loss of earing in one ear, dependence on a wheelchair for mobility, shattered life, splintered mind and rheumatoid arthritis. According to Lorena at the event in Sheffield, Lorena: “I lost my memory, suffered urinary incontinence and became so depressed. I saw no reason to live.”  Lorena’s experience led her to contemplate suicide on many occasions but when she attended the Emmanuel TV UK Revival along with her Pastor, Andres Espinoza, travelling from Spain to Sheffield in search of a miracle, her dream came true after the SCOAN Minister of God, Racine, prayed for her. Like a dream, fifteen years of pain, hurt and trauma became a thing of the past! She abandoned her wheel chair and walked! Also, her left ear that was damaged by the blast yield of the bomb in Madrid was restored to full health along with the incessant fear that had gripped her since the terrorist attack.tb joshua uk crusade

There were many more miracles, including that of Pastor Mazzola Salvador, an Italy-based Argentinian whose nagging hernia suddenly disappeared;  Priscilla Morales, Spain-based Colombian whose deteriorating hip bones were restored to sound health; Mr. Kofi Ababio who was healed of Spondylosis of the spine; Mrs. Clara Ajakaiye, a US-based Nigerian Bank Manager whose arthritis-ridden knees were cured and Mr. Lee Gordon, the Malaysian whose depression and suicidal tendencies vanished at the crusade.

The June 1 event in Sheffield might have come and gone, the effects of the great miracles would surely reverberate in that city and around the world for a long time to come.

AND NAZARETH CAN’T WAIT

Having seen a taste of what could happen in a T.B. Joshua crusade in Sheffield, the nation of Israel is already in great anticipation. In approximately three weeks to the Revival in Sheffield, the T.B. Joshua train of evangelism would again descend on the city of Nazareth, ancient hometown of Jesus Christ in the State of Israel. What is even more exciting to the Israelis and other people around the world planning to be in Nazareth is the fact that, unlike Sheffield, T.B. Joshua would be physically present.

tb joshua nazareth

FLIER OF THE NAZARETH, ISRAEL REVIVAL PROGRAMME

Indications that something grand would soon take place in Israel began in Mid-2017 when T.B Joshua was invited to Israel by Israel-based Zaka, one of the world’s most prestigious charity organizations, in recognition of the Nigerian prophet’s humanitarian activities. During that visit, TB Joshua met with various dignitaries including the Mayor of Nazareth, Ali Salam, and the Minister of Communications, MK Ayoob Kara. During that meeting, we reliably gathered, the popular clergyman was pleaded with by the Mayor to soon organize an international crusade in Nazareth, Israel. “What a blessing meeting with you, Prophet T.B. Joshua,” Mayor Ali Salaam said then. “We can’t wait to have you for a revival in Nazareth. We are ready.”

At another meeting with T.B. Joshua, the Israeli Minister of Communications, Mr. MK Ayoob Kara who represented the government was effusive in his welcome of the world-acclaimed televangelist. “This is my friend,” enthused Mr. Kara in his welcome address. “Welcome, Prophet T.B. Joshua.”

The high profile meetings and the immense reputation of the Man of God, our correspondent learnt, prepared the ground for the explosive revival that has been scheduled to hold in Nazareth between 23rd and 24th of June 2019. Tagged “MEET T.B. JOSHUA IN NAZARETH, ISRAEL”, the revival meeting, at Nazareth’s Amphitheatre of Mount Precipice would afford congregants the very unique opportunity of “Experiencing the Footprints of Jesus Christ” under the guidance of the internationally celebrated Prophet of God.

And like in the UK, feelers from the Middle East show that that region is agog with the good news of the anticipated explosive revival in the land of Jesus’ birth. Another unique touch to this revival is that it would be the first time such high-profile revival would be held by a Nigerian prophet, especially in the native land of The Christ.

June is surely a month of great blessings for the people of the UK and Israel, Jesus’ native land.
