THE LEGACY LIVES ON

TB Joshua, The SCOAN, The Legacy of prophet TB Joshua

Just a year has passed since the departure of the great Prophet and Spiritual father, Prophet TB Joshua. The God-sent servant of our Lord came to this world with a mission, which he fulfilled! As he used to say, “One life for Christ is all I have; one life for Him is so dear!”.

What a privilege! What an honour! What an undeserving grace to taste the glory of God in its majesty through the teachings and heavenly wisdom of Prophet TB Joshua! In a world where darkness and despair dominate the souls of men, the prophet of God brought the fire of the Holy Spirit and was used as a useful tool in the hands of God Almighty, in order to return the hearts of men back to their Creator!

High ranked demons and legions, unclean spirits and curses bowed down at the mention of Jesus’ mighty name from the lips of His anointed servant! We all witnessed and tasted this special power of God for many years at Prophet T. B. Joshua’s ministry, the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations in Lagos, Nigeria.

An inconceivable joy fills our hearts in the memory of the legacy he has left behind! In memory of his love, his determination, his offer to the whole world! Even though our Prophet has returned to the Lord, his powerful words, his resounding presence and his holy example will continue to live, because he planted seeds of spirit and truth in millions of lives! Among them, in fact, are people whom the Lord set to learn under him and continue to have the fire of revival lit. The spiritual heirs! Those in whom he invested day and night, in order to spread the truth of the Gospel throughout the world and to unborn generations!

From the bottom of our hearts we thank God Almighty for His prophet in our generation! On this day, we honour prophet TB Joshua for his divine mission, his beneficial work, the eternal Word he preached, and for the millions of lives he brought to light. May the memory of his departure always remind us of a loving relationship with God, as he taught us that, “Nothing will keep us on course like a deep love for the Lord!”.

In memory of the Prophet of all nations, Prophet T. B. Joshua!

A TRANSITION SELF-FORETOLD IN PARABLES – PROPHET T.B. JOSHUA

Prophet TB Joshua

While explaining the intricacies of matters of prophecy on October 5, 2014, during a SCOAN Sunday service, Prophet T.B. Joshua had told congregants that prophecy sometimes comes in the form of parables. Using himself as an example, the man of God asked the church: “If today is my last day, you want me to come out and say, ‘Today is my last day on earth’? If God has shown me, ‘T.B. Joshua, today is your last day on earth,’ I should come out and say, ‘Praise the Lord, today is my last day on earth’?” Prophet T.B. Joshua then said, “I will talk to you in parables so that when I’ve passed on to my Father, you can now pick those parables.”

On Saturday, 5th June 2021, Prophet T.B. Joshua actually spoke in parable about his own transition shortly before it happened. He had ministered at The Emmanuel TV Partners Meeting of that day and had started by saying, “I want to thank you for your time and for the heart you have for Jesus.” Then he spoke in parables: “Time for everything. A time to come here and a time to return home after service.” Then he gave the following advice: “Let us watch and pray” (Matthew 26).

In attendance at the Partners Meeting of that day was a certain Pastor Ikechukwu, who later told of the divine revelation he had during the impactful session of prayer and worship by the Emmanuel TV Choir and congregants. Here is Pastor Ikechukwu in his own words: “On that very day, which was Saturday, 5th June, we were at the Partners Meeting. We were praising the Lord. There was a lot of worship going on. I stood up. I was worshipping the Lord; I was deeply in worship. Immediately, my eyes opened. I saw something: People were running helter-skelter. This is my revelation. As they were running around, I quickly opened my eyes. I thought it was real. I looked back. Everybody was deeply in worship. I realised it was a revelation. I closed my eyes again. I was worshipping the Lord.”

Pastor Ikechukwu said the vision occurred a second time, narrating thus: “The revelation came the second time. So I sat down and began to pray. I was praying. I opened my eyes because I was meditating on what I saw. I saw an angel right from this point [pointing], descending. As the angel descended, I was amazed. I was looking at the angel. The second one landed. It was very fast, like electricity. It entered the second garden here [pointing]. Nobody was in the garden. Then the third angel landed. Then our father in the Lord, Prophet T.B. Joshua, came out. He was ministering to us. He was saying it is time to come and time to return home after service. So he began to preach; we were listening to him. He preached to a point.”

Describing the vision further, the pastor disclosed thus: “The fourth angel landed. I was watching them. Instantly, the atmosphere changed; the countenance of our father in the Lord, Prophet T.B. Joshua, changed. He dropped the microphone that was in his hand. He walked round. He was so fast. He walked round and then through the gate. I was watching him. He was moving very fast. I felt somehow because I had never seen him that way. He left us very fast. Before he left, I could recall that the antelopes were running out of that garden where the angels were. They ran to this part [pointing]. Then I watched everything as it unfolded. After that we were called to receive the Anointing Water. Then we received the Anointing Water. We received a message that T.B. Joshua said we were blessed. We received the Anointing Water; after we received it we were very happy. Then we all went back to our hotel rooms. This is what I experienced.”

On the significance of the vision in relation to Prophet T.B. Joshua’s peaceful transition later that same day, Pastor Ikechukwu stated: “God sent His angel and he took him home like Elijah. I want to assure you that God is real and our father, Prophet T.B. Joshua, is indeed a man of God. I saw the angel that came to take him home. And it is the Lord’s doing. I can as well tell you that if every man of God can be called home this way, it would be marvelous.”

Indeed, this vision is only another confirmation of the mighty power of God as has been manifesting in the ministry of Prophet T.B. Joshua right from the early days. As it was in the beginning, so shall it continue to be, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!

T.B. JOSHUA: THERE WAS A MAN I KNEW BY FEMI FANI-KAYODE

Tb Joshua, The SCOAN, Emmanuel TV
Prophet TB Joshua

There was a man I knew who helped a former Head of State’s wife gain access to her husband whilst the latter was in detention and when his life was in danger, even though he had never met him.

There was a man I knew who gave $100,000 USD to a leading traditional ruler who was in need and wanted to go on a trip to America with his delegation, even though he had never met him.

There was a man I knew who bought a beautiful jeep for a former Nigerian/British football star who spent much of the time in his Church.

There was a man I knew who stood by the family of a leading SAN when the latter was kidnapped even though they had never met.

There was a man I knew who stood by the family of a former Minister of Aviation when the latter was in detention even though they had never met.

There was a man I knew who fed more poor people and paid the school fees of more young people than all the other men of God in Nigeria put together.

There was a man I knew who read about how the entire family of a young boy from Delta state was wiped out by assasins whilst the boy himself was left for dead with a cut throat but who took the boy into his Church, treated him in hospital, counselled him, sent him to school, took care of all his needs and raised him as his own son.

There was a man I knew who gave shelter to the homeless, food to the hungry, clothes to the naked and spiritual and physical succour to the needy more than any other.

There was a man I knew who counselled and led millions of people all over the world to give their lives to Christ and become born again.

There was a man I knew who filled football stadiums in South America, the Far East, Asia, Africa, Europe, the Middle East and indeed all over the world with his remarkable soul-winning and earth-shaking crusades.

There was a man I knew who gave scholarships to thousands of young people to study all over the world and who took care of thousands of widows and orphans.

There was a man I knew who footed the bills of many cancer patients and those that suffered from other terminal illnesses.

There was a man I knew who hated injustice and persecution with a passion and who helped and supported the vulnerable, the weak, the persecuted, the oppressed and the misrepresented and maligned more than any other.

There was a man I knew who set up the most popular and powerful satellite television station on the African continent to propagate the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and to display His glorious and remarkable healing and loving power.

There was a man I knew who was a real patriot, who loved his country Nigeria, who loved his continent Africa and who loved the Church more than any other.

There was a man I knew who flew more refugees from foreign lands back home to Nigeria and fed and gave them jobs more than any other.

There was a man I kew who never responded to his detractors and critics and who preached nothing but love and forgiveness.

There was a man I knew who was gifted in the prophetic, who worked many miracles in the name the Lord and who always gave God the glory.

There was a man I knew whose Church attracted 6 out of every 10 foreigners that come to Nigeria.

There was a man I knew who was better known and more loved and respected than any other Nigerian living or dead in the nations of the world.

There was a man I knew who prayed into power and counselled many world leaders and Presidents than any other.

There was a man I knew who was more comfortable in the company of the poor than he was in the company of the rich.

There was a man I knew who suffered more persecution and tragedy than any other man of God in Nigeria without ever complaining.

There was a man I knew who derived more joy in giving than receiving and whose charitable works and humility was second to none.

There was a man I knew who preferred to build prayer retreats with beautiful trees, beautiful animals and beautiful flowers than private universities.

There was a man I knew who inspired more than any other, who always made time for those in despair, pain and anguish, who always allayed the fears of those he counselled and who offered the best advice that anyone could ever hope for.

There was a man I knew who believed that kindness to even the cruel and loving even the unlovable was the duty of every follower of Christ.

There was a man I knew who never forgot his roots and who took pleasure in telling others about his humble beginnings.

There was a man I knew who never judged others, who prayed for his enemies, who loved those that hated him and who helped as many Muslims, Jews, Hindus and Buddhists as he did Christians.

There was a man I knew who was closer to being an angel than any other person that I have ever met before in my entire life.

That man’s name was Temitope Balogun Joshua the founder of The Synagogue Church of All Nations.

He was a great Prophet of the Living God whose remarkable ministry and extraordinary works shook the entire world and brought solace and hope to several generations.

He passed on a few days ago and we God glory for his life. Until the end of time he shall be remembered and celebrated for being the kind-hearted, loving, caring and generous soul that he was.

He was one of God’s ‘end-time’ Generals and his fruits and works speak for him.

Godspeed and fare thee well brother and please rest in peace. You ran your course, you fought a good fight, you did us proud and you earned your crown.

We will never forget you and the impact you made in our respective lives.

We shall meet again at the marriage feast of the Lamb and until then we shall hold on to your words and remember your counsel.

We shall be strong and bold in all things and at all times and we shall keep our flag of compassion, courage, honor and faith flying.

This is not the end but only the beginning of our journey into eternity.

O death, where is thy sting? O grave where is thy power? For even in the grave, Jesus is Lord!

I close with David’s famous words when he learnt apart the passing of King Saul and his friend Jonathan. He said,

“Tell it not in Gath, proclaim it not in the streets of Ashkelon lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, Lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph…How are the mighty fallen in the midst of the battle! O Jonathan, thou wast slain in thine high places. I am distressed for thee, my brother Jonathan: very pleasant hast thou been unto me: thy love to me was wonderful, passing the love of women. How are the mighty fallen and the weapons of war perished!”- 2 Samuel 1: 20, 25-27.

I weep at your passing my brother TB.
Adieu and shalom great Prophet of the Living God and great son of Nigeria.

Emmanuel – God is with us. Jesus is Lord!

In blessed memory of our Father in the Lord, Prophet T. B. Joshua

Today you would have turned 58 years old… In this moment of grief and hope and gratitude we know that though not in person amongst us, you are much amongst us through your teachings in our hearts! Our hearts are filled with profound appreciation to the Almighty God for your life; a life that has been invested in the bettering of the lives of other people!

Throughout the years you have helped countless people to come to the right knowledge of God, you have pointed millions to the secrets of a content and happy life based on the principles of the Word of God, you have fought for the rights of the less privileged and have been a rare example of dedication to those who are in need; your works of charity inspire us!

You have also made yourself available to be used by God, and God has used you as an instrument to bring healing and freedom to those oppressed by the enemy of our soul. He has also used you as His messenger and has made His opinion on matters of global significance known through you throughout the years.

Yet, in the midst of all these you have remained the humble man you have always been; a friend to the one who is lonely and a comfort to the one who is in pain! We feel blessed to call you our Father, our Mentor and our Friend!

We pray that God may continue to bless your toil of decades for the Kingdom; we pray that God may ever fill your spiritual children with His Spirit so they may continue the mission of the Heavenly Father you prepared them for.
This is a tribute to the one that was and yet it is a tribute to the LIVING, for our God “is not the God of the dead but of the living”!!! (Matthew 22:32)

Until we meet you in person again… Happy Birthday our daddy, from here on earth!

“Let us dedicate this day (June 12th, 2021) to prayer and fasting. Don’t forget the needy.” – Prophet TB Joshua

Prophet TB Joshua Lives on in Our Hearts

Prophet TB Joshua, the Founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, would have been 58 years old on June 12, 2021, but has passed away exactly a week earlier. But when someone you know and also love passes away, we are saddened. But because it is TB Joshua we’d never look down to the floor with sadness. Instead, we are keeping our head held high and looking up to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our Faith for a man we believe have lived an exemplary life. We’d shared the same faith with TB JOSHUA. We prayed, ate, drank, talked, sang, danced, walked and joked together. The fact that we no longer see him isn’t enough to take him away from our hearts. I used to say in my mind, especially whenever I sat with TB Joshua, that I drank Arigidi water more than 12 years before TB Joshua came and drank the same community water. But we need to learn how God works and change to God’s way. In God’s order, it is never by power nor by might but by His grace.

Meanwhile the LORD our God has given us a beautiful fellowship and the SCOAN family through our father in the Lord Prophet TB Joshua. He is leaving behind a beautiful biological family and a vibrant Christian Community that will possess the land all the days we may live upon the earth. Soon we shall cross our own River Jordan and the Lord will help us to conquer our enemies and live in peace. After we must have settled we promise never to forget the lessons learned under TB Joshua, his labour of love, his life of prayers and discipline, his strict adherence to the Word of God, his generosity, that the better is not good enough, and all he did to build SCOAN. Life may be different without TB Joshua but we shall not offer sacrifices just anywhere we want to but where the Holy Spirit directs.

Jesus said unto her (Martha), “I am the resurrection and the life. He that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?”  We know that TB Joshua would have said, “Yes Lord, I believe”. This is one of the bases of our joy amidst our sorrow in the departure of a most beloved one. Prophet TB Joshua lives on in the hearts of those he trained, those who obtained educational scholarships from him, those he fed and housed those who received healing, attention, love, gifts, and those he prayed for. TB Joshua remains alive even in the minds of his adversaries and critics; unfortunately including individuals professing to be Christians with their ministries but still choosing the path of abuse and condemnation. They are just like the Pharisees who were so envious of Jesus that they got Jesus killed, buried with a heavy stone rolled over His tomb. They learnt too late of their errors and sin. It is God’s divine plan that Jesus should die to save humanity and we believe it has been God’s will to take TB Joshua away at His chosen time. TB Joshua was a true man of God and did his best as any man of God of our generation. This is why he is living on in our hearts, not because he was TB Joshua but because of his immense and permanent impacts on world history.

TB Joshua also taught that if our past life consists of unhealed wounds, unforgiving spirit sins not confessed, and so on, that the whole of our life would continue to bleed. Dressing the bleeding with alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, sex or stealing in other areas to cover up will only make the bleeding ooze through the bandage and staining the entire life continuously. Hence he advised that we find the strength to open the wounds that are holding us to our past and make peace with them through a complete repentance process. He advised that we should be fully committed to “Complete Repentance” and get out of a life-cycle of “Rise-and-Fall”, again and again.

Only the Spirit of Jesus can help us and sustain us through this perilous time. It is our prayer that we find the grace to see Jesus in the light of God’s plan today by receiving Jesus into our life. TB Joshua was able to confront individuals who came to him and telling them the root cause of their respective problems. He lives on in the lives of those who came forward to be thus rescued. It has been a mission he was born for and now died for. But as far as we are concerned Prophet TB Joshua lives on in our hearts. God will give His grace to see his disciples in actions living even greater than him just as Elisha had a double portion of anointing from Prophet Elijah. Emanuel

Prophet TB Joshua Message About Death

“A Christian does not consider death to be his end but the end of his trouble, tribulation. Whether you die young or old, no matter the nature of death, death is sure to come. What matters is the grace to continue living hereafter. We need to be sure that we are ready to depart. Are you ready? Continuing to trust in God is the only way to get ready for the things we are not ready for.

The question you need to ask yourself – are you living each day as if it were your last? How are you using your life? I mean, how are you spending your life? Because the greatest way to use life is to spend it on something that will outlive it. For instance, to love someone more dearly every day. When you look around you, you will see someone who is in need of your love, help, strength, time to help a wandering child find his way – I mean, to help widows, widowers, orphans, the less-privileged and unsaved, to follow truth – as blind men long for light.

To keep our heart fit for His holy sight and answer when He calls – this is our task. Let me leave you with a million words: Live each day as it were your last. Someday, you will be right.”

– Prophet TB Joshua

The Prophet T B Joshua the World Didn’t Know

Temitope Balogun, with Joshua as his prophetic name, we believe was called by God and filled with God’s Spirit. Generally, a prophet is called to speak God’s word to people who had in one way or another distanced selves from God. TB Joshua was one of them, a prophet and a preacher, a healer and generous giver, and a philanthropist amongst many other gifts. That he has been reported dead in the early hours of June 5, 2021, remains very hard for many of his followers to believe. In fact, for many days SCOAN premises may witness crowds of people longing to see their father in the Lord, Prophet TB Joshua. In the popular media, he is unfairly and wrongly treated as a prophet not more than a whistle-blower and a controversial individual. Those of us who were fortunate to have first-class knowledge of the prophet are hurt more when falsehood becomes the order of the day.

Some of the old prophets in the Bible include Moses, Samuel, Elijah, and Elisha amongst others. Prophet T B Joshua belongs to this class of God’s topmost prophets under unbiased assessment based on a spiritual level, ability to train other prophets, performance and appropriateness of prophecies, miracles and teaching, adherence to the scripture, etc. In addition, he belongs to the class of the earlier apostles such as Peter, John, Paul and others. If prophet T B Joshua had a message for you he would make all efforts to get it to you including phone calls and transportation at his cost. Therefore T B Joshua should be seen as someone who came forward to speak God’s world to this rebellious generation and at a time when religion had become commercialized and major means of livelihood and when the developed world had turned away from God to self and science. T B Joshua pushed his case to the last minutes of his life, telling people that God is Nature and hence God is Science. The media have been trying to convince people that freedom is found in doing what they want, whereas T B Joshua said that true freedom is obtained only by submission to Christ’s Lordship and making the Bible a standard for life. In no distant future, just as the disciples of Jesus were called Christians first in Antioch, (Acts 11:12), TB Joshua followers will be known also as Christians in the order of the first Apostles.

The public may also need to know that this pastor TB Joshua also faced many persecutions and trials. When his messages were put down from airing on government TV he created his own. When his prophecies were criticized he stayed calm. When he was given a national award by the government of Ya’Adua, which would have lured him to attend a public occasion, he sent his wife. He was a very careful man who depended on the leading of God’s spirit to direct his steps. The prophet never stopped praying for people using every method at his disposal. He introduced Emmanuel.TV, Anointing Water, Distance Not a Barrier to the Move of God, and turned a slum in Ikotun Egbe a local area in Lagos into a beautiful praying ground for an international audience that could become a major pilgrim place. He was a different man of God in every area because he remained original, focused and obedient to the Word of God. Whereas he was gentle and humble he was also equally equipped to be a consuming fire as any other prophet of God. God, Himself is a consuming fire. The Jesus that came at first was gentle but at His second coming He will be a Judge and a Consuming Fire. If the spirit of God that was in T B Joshua is hovering around it must be to consume because at that level evil can no longer be overlooked.

The public didn’t take advantage of the prophet’s free offer of healing. Many of those who did are still amongst us speaking out their testimonies. The classical healing and deliverance cases that came before T B Joshua at a single meeting are more than what a National University Teaching Hospital of any country could have handled a whole year. Cases that defiled healing from any other quarters came to T B Joshua and got positive results which cannot be denied the prophet.  The World is going to miss this genius called prophet T B, Joshua, even as we expect that many of his disciples will spring up with their mentor’s type of evangelism very soon.

Prophet T B JOSHUA lives on.

THE GENERATION OF VIPER THAT SEE HATRED AND DIVISION AS HOLINESS

The hypocritical generation where are you heading to?

I have thought of this over and over again and it’s painful. I remember some minister attacked me because I defended my brother prophet TB Joshua during the collapse building and in many occasions.
Why do we see hatred , discrimination, division as holiness?

To the young ministers in the prophetic ministry, don’t allow any one to demonise you, make you leave in fear because they hate the prophetic and deliverance ministry. God does not come from any man of God village, no man of God can pocket God . Many preachers have died of depression because of some men of God, who are holiness vampire, who built their holiness and ministry by running down other men of God. Please stay by your convictions.

We have turn ministry to a cult, if you don’t belong to our group, submit to our spiritual father you are fake and diabolic. When a man of God dies from their circle its normal but if it comes from the prophetic circle, they demonise and call it all sort of names. We are waiting at the gate for this so call deputy God to make a comment about Prophet TB Joshua.

Yes, it’s good that you all are posting and writing condolence messages about Prophet TB Joshua.

Ah, I see a generation that prefer the saying of the people than the saying of Christ…
“That they may be one…” Saith the Lord.

You never celebrated him on his birthday, you never identified with him or even be bold enough to post his pictures on your ministry social media pages but you are now excited to post his exit picture on every of your platform, can you now see that this generation celebrate death more than living?

I have seen many preachers that makes reference to the messages and words of Archbishop Benson Idahosa but these same preachers never made mentioned of him or his words while he was still alive but they criticized him with passion during his lifetime.

What a generation?

They kill their generals at the war front and then begin to hail them after they have gone to glory.

They persecute them and throw them out of their midst and latter mourn for their departure…

Those teachers who were very careful with Apostle Babalola then that he was using evil power for Ministry, many of such and their children now make reference to Apostle Babalola’s prayer life…

Who has bewitched these folks called Christians?

You said, that man of God is fake and you are real, why not let us come together to pray to the only True God and let’s see if any diabolical power will be able to stand before the God of heaven?

You are the real preacher but you hate and jealous another preacher, can’t you see that you are next in command to the devil?

O God save my generation from this spirit of hate, jealousy and competition.

TO THE YOUNG MINISTERS OF THE GOSPEL:

Please don’t follow the footsteps of the jealous spirit of some elders, they tried but they failed totally in this aspect…

Since the day I discovered that all the dimensions of God are too versatile to be made manifest in one man and for that purpose God decides to manifest its divers manifestations through different people in different ways, I have made up my mind never to judge, disbelieve of criticize any man of God.

I’m tired of wickedness converted to holiness in this generation…

A generation that sees hatred as holiness..
A generation that that takes pleasure in discrimination than love…

There’s no difference between this generation and the generation that crucified Christ but when they read their Bible they blame those priest, scribe and Pharisees that killed the Master whereas their own generation appears more wicked than those of old.

Let love lead.

Shalom 🙏
