HE TURNED THE CROSS INTO A CROWN & THE TOMB INTO TRIUMPH!

An empty grave, and a stone rolled away– this is the single piece of evidence that astounded Christ’s enemies because no one before Him – or after Him – had ever defeated death. Therefore, we should rejoice, because in His resurrection lies the assurance that no darkness can extinguish the light of love and no despair can undermine the promise of a new beginning!

Indeed, in His resurrection, we find not only salvation, but also the strength to endure life’s perils! What cross are you carrying today? Is it setback? Disappointment? Jesus can turn it into a crown! What tomb have your dreams fallen in? He can turn that tomb into triumph!

𝟏 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟏:𝟑: “[…] 𝐈𝐧 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐲 𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐮𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐝!”

So, just as Jesus Christ is risen, we encourage you to let your heart rise and seek the things that are above. For just as He conquered death, you can conquer your worries too! This Easter, may your heart be filled with hope and peace, remembering that no matter what trials you are facing, you do so with the promise of ultimate triumph!

REJOICE! CHRIST IS RISEN!

TB Joshua, The SCOAN

Christ is risen! Happy Easter! Friends of Jesus Christ, rejoice! Jesus Christ is risen and He defeated death!

“[..] 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐝? 𝐇𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞; 𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐧!” 𝐋𝐮𝐤𝐞 𝟐𝟒:𝟓-𝟔.

Our King, Jesus Christ, paid the ultimate price for humanity’s redemption in order to deliver us from sin and its consequences. His death, however, was not the end, but the beginning! Jesus Christ was declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness – by His resurrection from the dead!

Through His resurrection, there is fullness of grace and certainty of safety for all believers here on earth even beyond the grave!

As we celebrate the resurrection of our King, may His resurrecting power flow in your life and may it revive every dead area of your life – in the name of Jesus Christ!

EXPERIENCE THE POWER OF RESURRECTION IN ALL AREAS OF YOUR LIFE.

TB Joshua, The SCOAN

EXPERIENCE THE POWER OF RESURRECTION IN ALL AREAS OF YOUR LIFE.

Matthew 28: 5-6
The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; He has risen, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay.

Our Lord Jesus Christ is the significance of resurrection, the true essence and focal point of our worship. He was flogged, crashed and humiliated for our sake but He responded with forgiveness. As children of God, we should come to Him with a free spirit, a spirit that does not hold offence, burden, envy and resentment against others. Let our hearts rise to the things which are above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father, reigning in power, now and forevermore!

“Jesus Christ lives. He never said goodbye” – Prophet T.B. Joshua

Happy Easter from the Emmanuel TV Family!

BECAUSE OF CHRIST

Tb Joshua, The SCOAN, Emmanuel TV

Happy Easter! We are Christians because of the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross. In other words, we are Christians not because of what we do but because of what Christ has done.

Isaiah 53:5-6 – “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.”

Easter reminds us of what Christ did for us: At Calvary Jesus defeated the devil and it is His victory that gives us victory. Jesus paid the ultimate price for the redemption of mankind by dying a painful death, a shameful death to set us free from sin and its penalty.

This is what He has done for us; what have we done for Him?

How do we live a life of appreciation?

It’s not just enough to profess Christianity, but we must run our Christian life well – a straight race. We are supposed to be among those who shall reign with Him by being with Him when the goings are good and when the goings are tough as well. By His suffering on the Cross of Calvary, there is fullness of grace and assurance of security for all believers here on earth and even beyond the grave. Therefore, when we are restrained from doing what we would, we should do what we can in His service because Jesus Christ is our refuge, our strength, our Saviour, our redeemer- a very present help in trouble.

HAPPY EASTER!!!

Tb Joshua, The SCOAN, Emmanuel TV

“Whatever in your life that has been in a state of disuse – begin to resurrect, in Jesus’ name. Be it in your health, business, family, finances – begin to RESURRECT! Let the resurrection power of our Lord Jesus Christ fall upon you, in Jesus’ name!

➡️ In the place of pain – receive the joy of resurrection.
➡️ In the place of poverty – receive the blessing of resurrection.
➡️ In the place of barrenness – receive the fruitfulness of resurrection.
➡️ In the place of failure – receive the success of resurrection.
➡️ In the place of yoke – receive the deliverance that comes from resurrection.
➡️ In the place of disappointment and setback – receive the breakthrough of resurrection, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!”

Walking with Jesus to Golgotha

Tb Joshua, SCOAN, Emmanuel TV, The cross

The events leading to the journey to Golgotha happened very fast. The enemy will lose no time attempting to pursue a perceived foe. Jesus was arrested in the early hour in Gethsemane Garden (Mark 14:37, 14:41) and about six hours later put on the cross, (Mark 16:25). In this short period, He had been marched from this Garden back to the other side of Jerusalem and examined severally. He was examined first by the High Priest Annas, then by the Sanhedrin presided over by the High Priest Caiaphas (Matt. 26:57, Mark 14:55) and then taken to Pilate (Luke 23:1), to Herod Antipas (Luke 23:7), then back to Pilate (Luke 23:11) again. Pilate finally sentenced Him and handed Him over to the soldiers. They dressed Him up as a mock-king, then made to drag His cross to Golgotha to be crucified.

Several years later Apostle Peter wrote to the pilgrims, including those coming to SCOAN from all parts of the world today that, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time”, (1 Peter 1:3-5).

We note that throughout this trial Jesus never complained, even with all the torture and great humiliation. Jesus does what he asks of His followers then and today. He takes on the difficult challenges of life knowing that in going through the difficult challenges we grow in faith and hope in the Lord. Jesus literally, picks up His cross and goes forward on the journey to Golgotha knowing what lies ahead. Showing the world that God’s love for all was too important to stop the journey. Prophet TB Joshua teaches his views that challenges are the soils on which faith grows. Jesus goes through this to secure our salvation.

At the cross Jesus finally said “It is finished”, (John 19:30). We have no doubt that Jesus knew what His last words ought to be here in this life. He knew the power those final words would have for generations still to come. He had great purpose in them, which still breathe such life and meaning for our lives today. Jesus has reached His destination and all the scriptures fully fulfilled, in Him and only in Him. Happy Easter Season. Emmanuel.

Tell Others of the Risen Jesus Christ

Tb Joshua, SCOAN, Emmanuel TvOn Palm Sunday morning we heard “… the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David….” (Matthew 21:15). At that time only the chief priests, the scribes and those on the other side of the Truth were sore displeased. The moment and feeling of great joy for all the generations of the disciples of Jesus had come. By the Friday within that week, a great sadness over such a horrifying death meted to the Lord and Saviour of the world on a cruel cross.  Much of the great joy and great fear was the experience of Mary Magdalene and the other Mary as they ran from the empty tomb on Sunday morning. The Lord Jesus Christ has risen and the tomb is empty. This was their story, and they must not keep quiet about it.

Perhaps there isn’t any new message a preacher could bring that is different from past years. Because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic Prophet TB Joshua in this Easter Repeatedly Broadcast on Emmanuel.tv said that “the friends of Jesus are glad because of the resurrection”. Jesus Christ overcoming death by resurrection, as the scriptures foretold, is not just a message of idealism far from the lived experience of people today. The resurrection of Jesus has a lot to say to us amid the terrors, chaos, persecution, hatred amongst Christian sects, kidnapping, ritual killing, and every other uncertainty of today’s world. Jesus provides hope upon which to build our love and faith in God through Him.

It must be remembered that the life of faith is not always one of assurances or certainties. Jesus’ disciples struggled to understand their Master’s teachings and His journey to the cross. We all have roles to play as we work out our salvation and build our faith.

Now “…the angel said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid; I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for he has been raised, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples, He has been raised from the dead, and indeed he is going ahead of you to Galilee; there you will see Him’. So they left the tomb quickly with fear and great joy and ran to tell His disciples”, (Matthew 28:5-8). The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), together with every arm of the Ministry, including Emmanuel.tv, Emmanuel partners, has a single common assignment to let everyone know that Jesus has risen, the tomb is empty and that if we die with Jesus we shall live with Him also. Then, Jesus told His disciples, “Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world”, (Matthew 28: 19-20).

During this lockdown period, due to the coronavirus global pandemic, some people came to tell me of their frustrations. They had planned to be in SCOAN from Palm Sunday to Easter Monday 2020. It was their long-drawn plan but “government didn’t allow them”. Is the world coming to an end? But what the followers of Jesus went through was nothing compared to a global pandemic we suspect is the outcome of a human error. The church leaders of those days, led by the Pharisees, the Scribes and others had gathered in opposition to the fulfilments of prophecies they read daily in their Synagogues. The Jesus of their expectation was contrary to Jesus of Nazareth and son of the Virgin Mary.

Meanwhile, everyone should note that Jesus Christ is not just some human idea put together as a thesis. In (1 John 1:1) we read, “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life”. Hence, Jesus allowed Himself to die in our place and this is because of our sin. Jesus has the power to take back His life again because He is God. Finally as many as believe Him and follow Him Jesus makes them joint hires with Himself, and they become God’s children. This is why SCOAN is changing lives and turning them to Christ-followers. Emmanuel!!!
