Happy birthday, Emmanuel TV!

TB Joshua, The SCOAN, Emmanuel TV

Seventeen years ago, on a day like this, the Lord God made it possible for Emmanuel TV to come into existence through the instrumentality of His servant, Prophet TB Joshua.
As we look back through the years, we know that God’s Right Hand of Grace, Favour and Compassion has remained strong upon this gospel channel.

Through Emmanuel TV, we have all joined hands together to make the world a better place by sharing what God has given us with the needy in all spheres of life. We have extended hands of solidarity, fellowship and warmth to those in crises brought on by nature. And, more importantly, we have all contributed in supporting The TB Joshua Ministries to spread the message of love and salvation across the world.

As we celebrate this 17th anniversary of Emmanuel TV — a medium through which millions of lives have been transformed worldwide — we urge you to look beyond your present situation and let your spirit be lifted as you carry on with the work of bringing succour to the suffering.

Happy 17th birthday, Emmanuel TV!
Emmanuel TV — changing lives, changing nations, changing the world!

HAPPY 54TH BIRTHDAY TO A WOMAN OF GREAT FAITH AND VISION!

Evelyn Joshua, Birthday Celebration

Today the family of SCOAN is celebrating the birthday of a great woman whom God chose to stand by the side of the greatest prophet our time has ever witnessed, during his earthly life. We are celebrating the life of the woman who stood by our beloved Prophet T.B. Joshua until the very day his mission on this earth was fulfilled, according to God’s divine will!

We wish to express our gratitude for through her dignity, discernment, unshakable faith, perseverance and patience she has managed to rise to the occasion and fulfil her duties as a wife, a mother, and most importantly as a woman who stands with faith in God no matter the circumstances!

Happy Birthday, Pastor Evelyn! We thank the Lord for your dedication to God’s work and for the wonderful role model that you are. May God Almighty continue to add more years to your years, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!

Better is not good enough; the best is yet to come!

STAY IN TUNE WITH GOD

TB Joshua, The SCOAN, Emmanuel TV

Life is a battlefield where only the bold win, after so many battles. As Christians, when God leads us through a battle, it is in our own interest to tell of His goodness, kindness and mercy, thanking Him for not allowing our foes to defeat us. When God gives us His strength, He will always see us through all obstacles. The extent of His care and the strength of His might in our lives weaken, frustrate our foes.

In our walk with God, there will be both good and hard times. Are you sick? God is the Healer! Are you in bondage? God can set you free! Are you oppressed? God is the great Deliverer! Are you in need? God is the great Provider! Jesus Christ has the answers to all problems. We have no refuge than this command of Jesus Christ: ONLY BELIEVE! This is our refuge. We must have absolute trust in God that He is working out the answer. Remember that being faithful to God does not mean not facing persecution, name-calling or oppression. Daniel, Paul, Joseph, Meshach, Shadrach and Abednego were all rejected and persecuted by men but God made their troubles work for their advancement.

Consider the case of Daniel, whose faith was challenged in a new way. He had two options:

i. renounce and deny God, stop doing God’s work, worship Babylonian gods and become the king’s right-hand man with huge rights and privileges.

ii. maintain his stand with God and have his bones crushed by hungry lions.

These were indeed extreme options needing the grace of God to make the right choice. Daniel’s faithfulness and consistency are a challenge to all Christians today. So, whatever you are passing through, if it is allowed by God, never doubt your Guard.

Never a sickness Jesus Christ cannot heal, never a disease He cannot cure and never a problem He cannot solve. So, stay tuned to God in faith. Say: “Lord Jesus, give me the grace to continue to hold on to You regardless of the challenges, persecution and oppression! Let Your name be glorified and praised ALWAYS in my life!”

CONFESSION OF GOD’S WORD

TB Joshua, The SCOAN, Emmanuel TV

Jesus went to the mount of Olives. Now, early in the morning, He came again into the temple and all the people came to Him and He sat down and taught them. Then, the Scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had sat her in their midst, they said to Him, ‘Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery in the very act (John 8:1-4). Then, Jesus spoke to them again saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life. One cannot walk in the light when the Word does not prevail in him. When the Word doesn’t prevail in you, you will begin to confess other words. The Word of God is light. When you walk in the light, you will not walk in difficulty, sickness, or poverty. As long as you walk in your situation, you are walking in darkness. So, as a Christian, the Bible says that we are the light of the world. No matter the situation you are in; if you know you are a Christian and you have confessed Him as your Lord and personal Saviour, leave it for Him. He is in charge and He is aware.

If you are a doer of the Word, the Word will be living in your lips, just exactly as it lives in the Master’s mouth. Your word becomes God’s Word and your lips become God’s ambassador. The Word dominating you is the Lordship of Christ in you. Right now, begin to confess His Word. Confess who you are in Christ Jesus. Leave it for Him; He is in charge. The Word you speak determines the life you enjoy. So, right now, open your lips and begin to speak to your life. Defeat and failure are things of the past. Say: “Good Morning, my business; it is a new dawn! Good Morning, my career, my finances, my future, it is a new dawn!”

BE EQUIPPED WITH GOD’S WORD

TB Joshua, The SCOAN, Emmanuel TV, Evelyn Joshua

Jesus Christ has authority over unclean spirits and the power to compel them to leave. As followers of Christ, we have authority over sicknesses and demonic activities, as well as the power of God to instruct them where to go and they must obey. As Christians, we don’t have to be concerned about satan or upset by his tricks, such as failures, disappointment, setbacks, affliction and diseases. Instead, we must boldly challenge him because we have the power of Jesus Christ’s name at our command. The name Jesus Christ has power but only among those who would allow God’s Word to dwell in and dominate them. If there is an indwelling Word, Christ will come to the scene when you call His name, since the Word dominating you is the Christ you are calling to the scene – to cure, deliver, bless and rescue. It is the Word that has taught us the worth, authority and legal right to use the name, Jesus Christ.

When our spirit acts on the Word, the Spirit will be released in accordance to how much we hear God’s Word with our hearts. Genuine Christians are always instructed by the Holy Spirit. As a result, in each case, they receive precise information or suggestion from the Holy Spirit that the action should be carried out. Such was the case with Apostle Paul in Acts 16:16-18. The evil spirit departed the slave girl immediately after Apostle Paul had a specific instruction from the Spirit of God to command the unclean spirit out of her. This implies that unless we receive specific instructions or suggestions from the Spirit of God to call the name, Jesus Christ, and we call the name, our words will be useless, meaningless and oftentimes destructive. In Acts 19:14-16, this was what happened to the seven sons of Sceva.

Authority assures us that Jesus Christ is the Healer, Deliverer and Saviour of the world but power makes healing, deliverance and salvation a reality. As a result, it is very necessary to speak the name of Jesus Christ with authority and power.

If you know that you require Christ’s intervention in your life, say this prayer: “Lord Jesus, remove whatever barrier between me and Your Word. Grant me the grace to read and act on Your Word, live by Your Word and do Your Word because in Your Word, there is healing, deliverance and all of God’s blessings! In Jesus’ name!”

PATIENCE IS A NECESSARY VIRTUE

TB Joshua, The SCOAN, Emmanuel TV, Evelyn Joshua, Prophet Harry

When everything is well in one’s life, it is very easy to have patience. But, what happens when situations get tougher? That is when the real test comes – when we have no other choice than to be patient, while the only thing we want is an immediate solution to our problem!

In 𝐇𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝟏𝟐:𝟏, Paul urges us to continue running the good race of faith saying, “𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐮𝐬 𝐫𝐮𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐮𝐬, 𝐟𝐢𝐱𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡. 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬, 𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝”. This is the instruction our Almighty Father gives us in times when impatience overwhelms us.

Patiently waiting on God’s time, we show our faith and trust in the One who can bring the best outcome to any concern we might be facing! All the heroes of faith went through the trial of patience and, if we read their stories, we will see that God did not only solve their problems but also rewarded them generously! Therefore, be patient because God’s answer is not for those who are in a hurry. Even when God seems to be silent, He is still saying something!

🙏 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫: “Lord, I ask You to give me grace and patience, so that I may await Your heavenly intervention and not strive in vain with my own strength. I completely trust my life in Your hands – in the name of Jesus Christ, amen!”

SCOAN IS MOVING IN JESUS’ NAME EVEN AFTER PROPHET TB JOSHUA

General Overseer, Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), owners of Emmanuel TV Team, Prophet TB Joshua and wife, Evelyn
General Overseer, Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), owners of Emmanuel TV Team, Prophet TB Joshua and wife, Evelyn

Has anyone of us in The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) ever wondered why our Father in the Lord, Prophet TB Joshua, has to go so suddenly? Or why has SCOAN had to go through what it has to go through since June 5, 2021? We may not know all the answers. However, as we approach the first anniversary of that event let us ponder on what God is telling us and doing in our time. Let us come together and celebrate the life and time of a great prophet of our time.

Truly Prophet TB Joshua’s physical absence is an immeasurable missing but, His great work of love, his complete dedication to the full gospel of Jesus Christ, his teaching, his unique charisma, etc., will all remain with us. We can say right away that was spoon-feeding all of us, from his family, his numerous disciples and workers, Emmanuel TV Partners and his other associates, regular or occasional Church members, visitors, and viewers of Emmanuel TV worldwide, everyone got fed freely. His absence should encourage us to grow more spiritually and depend on the Holy Spirit that was also living in Prophet TB Joshua.

His passing away has been greatly felt, even though at different degrees, depending on whether you were his wife, children, disciples, followers, or even critics. Nevertheless, there are great signs of reassurance to build our faith and hope; not just from the Holy Scriptures and the Holy Spirit. His wife and now SCOAN’s new leader, Prophetess Evelyn Joshua is filling the space her husband left. Many assemblies, offshoots of SCOAN, are springing up in many countries his disciples have run back to. We are praying for all of them to be filled with the Holy Ghost so that we can build on the same foundation laid by Christ Jesus, faithfully and powerfully.

Not that anyone of us has already obtained everything, or has already arrived, but the goal is to keep pressing on and take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of us, (Philippians 3:12). We shall continue to advocate the need for our mutual unity, love and working in one accord. If the Apostle Paul is willing to admit that He hasn’t full attained the fullness of salvation, then there is a need to support each other and build on whatever we learned under Prophet TB Joshua.

We shall press forward as Paul says. By that Paul is teaching us that Jesus Christ died so that we might have salvation. Jesus Christ left us so that the Comforter could come and teach us all things.  Remember also that Jesus isn’t still on the cross. Jesus isn’t in the tomb. Jesus has moved on. Let us encourage each other also that Prophet TB Joshua has moved on and so we have to move on too. Yet our father in the Lord will live continually in our hearts. But we’re grateful to God for briefly lending him to the world.

THE WORD OF GOD IN OUR HEART

Tb Joshua, The SCOAN, Emmanuel TV

Christianity today seems to be of human wisdom. There seems to be no difference between Christianity and religion. However, the Bible makes us understand that Christianity is not a religion but a relationship. Jesus came to restore the relationship and fellowship between God and man.

Christianity lies in the heart. It is all about the Word of God in our heart but today Christianity has become the Word of God in our mouth. People simply declare, “I am a Christian,” but the question is, “Are you such in heart?” The fact that you carry a Bible and a big cross does not necessarily mean you are a Christian. Are you a Christian in heart? It is not enough to profess Christianity but we must run the race well by living up to that profession.

The Bible says in Matthew 15:8, “These people honour me with their lips but their heart is far from me.” Anyone can say, “Jesus is Lord,” but not everyone can confess Jesus is the Lord with all their heart. That is why satan keeps dislodging and displacing many, because they are not where God wants them to be. Your heart should be where God wants it to be.

In 1 Chronicles 28:9, the Bible says the Lord searches the heart and knows the thoughts of man. As Christians we will face challenges; when they come, we should consider them pure. Today, many see their trials as sorrowful moments because they only profess Christianity with their mouth but not in the heart. If you are truly a Christian, your challenges are to strengthen your desire and determination for God. Your challenges are to improve you, not to impair you. No one can say Jesus is Lord without the Word of God in their heart. You need the Word of God in your heart to contact Jesus.

In this season make sure you work on your spiritual life. Make sure your heart is at its best for God, because the Spirit of the Father expresses Himself through our heart. Your heart cannot be at its best for God without your being spiritual. Henceforth, let God’s Word be the foundation of all that you do, because Christ and His Word are one.
Ask Jesus Christ to come and make His home in you. Amen!

DO YOU LOVE ME?

TB Joshua, The SCOAN, Emmanuel TV

If we are to be responsible to Christ, it will be because of our love for Him. It is only through love that we can respond to God and our fellow men. Prophet T.B. Joshua says that anyone who does not love or anyone who does not forgive cannot be entrusted with the power to heal, bless and deliver; he will use it to hurt himself and others. Faith, when it is practised genuinely, works by love.

In John 21: 15- 17, Jesus Christ asked Peter one of the most penetrating and most dangerous questions, “Do you love me?” In other words, do you have a relationship with me? The basic qualification for a lasting relationship was found in this question, “Do you love me?”

A relationship cannot exist without love; love looks around to see those in need. Nothing will keep us on course than a deep love for the Lord. This new year, let us show love to one another by giving what our lives depend on, not those things we do not need. There is no love that does not express itself in giving.

Say this prayer with me:
1) Lord Jesus Christ, give me love enough to overlook the mistake of others.
2) Lord Jesus Christ, give me the grace to give people another chance.
3) Jesus, give me love enough until it overflows to others, in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen!
