In today’s society, there is a tendency to remain neutral -to the degree of apathy more than often- towards the things that happen around us. Unfortunately, this category consists of the majority of people. However, is this mindset appropriate for the children of God?
According to the book of 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟑:𝟏𝟓, which states: “𝐈 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐨𝐭. 𝐈 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫!”, no such life stance is unacceptable for a Christian. Life is not an encounter group, a bonding meeting or a playground; life is a battlefield where only the serious-minded are victorious. With that being said, that is how we ought to face life; not being indifferent to the evil and injustice around us, but standing for what we believe in.
The neutrality that pervades many -either because they do not want to get uncomfortable or because they are afraid to take action- is an extension of defeat and ruin, because on our last day here on earth we will not be accountable only for the mistakes we have made, but also for the times when we knew what was right and did not do it.
Therefore, take action in your life! Stand for your faith in the Lord and be willing to make the most of the time that was given to you on earth by Heaven, for the person that folds his hands will not have any record.
🙏 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫: “Lord Jesus Christ, help me to have an unquenchable zeal for You and be serious-minded, so that I may be victorious in every spiritual battle, until You crown me with the crown of victory, amen!”
