GRACE or WORKS?

Man has a tendency to look at external characteristics whenever he is looking for some cooperation or some kind of companionship. Unlike the grace of God, which does not look at color, origin, gender or age. God has made everything in such a way that everything is a result of His grace!

In more detail, the Word of God in 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝟗:𝟏-𝟔, states: “[…] 𝐒𝐨 𝐡𝐞, 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝, 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐝, ‘𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨?’ 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐢𝐦, ‘𝐀𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐨 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐨.’” Apostle Paul, while he was not one of the twelve disciples of Jesus Christ, and in fact was a fanatical persecutor of His church, Saul became the Apostle Paul, a useful vessel in the hands of God! Undoubtedly, then, Jesus Christ did not come for the righteous, but for sinners!

If one deserved God’s grace, then it would not be called grace, it would be called wages! God therefore chooses grace over works! If the weak come to Him, He is ready to help their weakness, as He would help the strong. He knows our limitations, so He chooses grace! This, then, is the mystery of God’s grace, because no one deserves it, but God gives it to everyone! Almighty God takes unworthy, sinful, unusual people, clothes them with His glory and puts them in His Kingdom for eternity!

Jesus Christ did not consider Paul’s past and He will not consider your past either. Jesus knows how undeserving of His grace we are, that is why He has decided to brush aside our past in order to determine our future. So what counts more? God’s grace or human works? Get ready to receive His grace, in Jesus’ name!

Building Collapse, T.B. Joshua Sent Condolences Message to the Reigners Bible Church

The Ministry of Prophet T.B. Joshua has through the Church official Facebook page sent a condolence message to the entire members, friends and family of those that lost their love once in the Reigners Bible church, Building collapsed in Akwa-Ibom State, Nigeria.

The Prophet also sympathies with the government and people of the state.

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE FROM T.B. JOSHUA TO REIGNERS BIBLE CHURCH, AKWA-IBOM STATE, NIGERIA

We at Emmanuel TV and The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations express our deepest condolences to the government and people of Akwa-Ibom State, Nigeria, and Reigners Bible Church. We especially commiserate with the families, friends and loved ones of those who lost their lives in the tragic incident which occurred on Saturday, December 10, 2016.

It is important to realise that the manner in which a person dies does not matter; what counts is the life you live. All of the Apostles of old died in unique ways as martyrs of faith, paying the supreme price to bring us the Gospel.

Continuing to trust God is the only way to get ready for the things we are not ready for. You need not fear where you are going when you know God is going with you. If you are prepared to die, you are prepared to live.

Death to a believer is his release from the imprisonment of this world and his departure to the enjoyment of another. Those who are born from above long to be there! This means physical death only enhances our spiritual transition toward God, for when we die in the body we continue to live in the spirit.

May the Almighty God console all and give courage and strength to bear the grievous losses. Our God is faithful and true, a Rock against which you can lean your faith, even as the winds of mourning howl around you.

This kind gesture by Prophet T.B. Joshua has again shown to the world his Godly character and proof of his genuine calling as a true Man of God. This shown that the Prophet is free from hatred and malice.

Remember that this same building collapse incident happened in the SCOAN. Instead for condolences and show of sympathy to be extended to Prophet T.B. Joshua and his ministry, he was called all sort of unkind names. Even fellow Minister of the Gospel that supposed to stand for the Prophet and show love to him, keep mute over the sad incident and allowed him to fight the battle alone. Even the Military Airplane that is responsible for the collapes, no one is talking about it instead, the authority are calling for the persecution of the innocent building contractors. Till date the issue is still in the court.

Believers in the household of God are supposed to be their brothers keeper not rejoicing in the downfall of their fellow brethren. Because no matter our spiritual level, no one is above temptations. Our common enemy is the devil not our fellow brethren.
