HAPPY PALM SUNDAY!!!

Our Lord Jesus Christ entered the city of Jerusalem seated on a donkey. In doing so, He fulfilled the prophecy found in the book of the Prophet ๐™๐ž๐œ๐ก๐š๐ซ๐ข๐š๐ก ๐Ÿ—:๐Ÿ—: โ€œ๐‘๐ž๐ฃ๐จ๐ข๐œ๐ž ๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ฅ๐ฒ, ๐ƒ๐š๐ฎ๐ ๐ก๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐™๐ข๐จ๐ง! ๐’๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ, ๐ƒ๐š๐ฎ๐ ๐ก๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐‰๐ž๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐š๐ฅ๐ž๐ฆ! ๐’๐ž๐ž, ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐  ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐ฌ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ, ๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ๐ž๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฏ๐ข๐œ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ, ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฐ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ข๐ง๐  ๐จ๐ง ๐š ๐๐จ๐ง๐ค๐ž๐ฒ, ๐จ๐ง ๐š ๐œ๐จ๐ฅ๐ญ, ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐Ÿ๐จ๐š๐ฅ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐š ๐๐จ๐ง๐ค๐ž๐ฒ.โ€ This symbolises the ultimate act of humility and obedience to His Father. Our Lord knew very well what was to follow; His crucifixion. However, He was determined and willing to sacrifice His life on a Cross for my sake and for yours! Such was His purpose; He was not aiming at material or political gain, but at the salvation of our souls!

Today, as you reflect on Jesus Christ’s love for you personally, ask yourself, how have you responded to that love? May you give Him His proper position in your heart from now on, and, in other words, love Him for who He isโ€” the Saviour, the Deliverer, the Redeemer, and the King of kings!
